I’m traveling to Guatemala next week with my kids I’m glad I stumbled across this video! How did you find the tour guides? Also did you hire a private boat? How much was it?
Have a great trip. It was a private boat and here is the contact info. Miguel Lanchero +50231153515. His brother Lucas gave us a 4-hour boat tour. They were very nice. The price was maybe $120, but don't remember exactly. It was worth it. The tour of the city was designed to showcase the local businesses. She just met us at the dock, perhaps arranged by our driver. It is a little tough to get to, but SO worth it. The boat rides are not bad in the mornings, but tends to get choppy later in the afternoon. We loved Lake Atitlan! Hopefully you will get to go someday. John and Bev

The cooking class couple looked a bit uncomfortable in the video. Do you ask before filming people? The food looks great.
