Sir, I want to ask if it was a change in the magenta developer powder you did or if it was magenta toner you added to the developer unit?
Thank you! That's a good question!!! I added magenta toner. The problem with this particular copier arose due to the fact that the client did not change the toner tube in a timely manner. Magenta stopped printing. To quickly solve this problem and not have to disassemble the developer unit, I forcibly added some toner. At the same time, he turned the feed inward. Everything worked out!!!
This saved the day on several occasions. Especially when the developer remained on the magnetic shaft! But the developer also had to be changed, when it was completely used up, adding toner did not help.

@@rivprint Thanks a lot for your reply. I enjoyed the video and wanted to understand it better. Yes the adding of toner helps to save the day especially in emergency until later on when the main solution of either a change in developer powder or servicing will be done.

@@rivprintmy own copier, Konica Minolta c554 had a printer board issue and I could not use it for 2 years. I had it fixed but the issue now is that the colour doesn't seem to balance. At first, I was only having a P9 error code. I changed the developer and the P9 error was resolved. Now am having error P6, P7, P8, P28 and P21. Sometimes the P7 and P8 error won't come up but only the P8, P28 and P21 error will show. My question is this:
(1) Do I need to also change the developer for the Cyan, Magenta and Yellow?
(2) Currently, if I print it is only more of Magenta colour that seems to print.
(3) Although no P9 error code which stands for black colour issue but if I print the black is usually gray in colour. It is not coming out as the usual dark black colour. Could this be because of the other colours that are having error codes?
