- The GT is unique car from Mclaren for 2023. On the outside you will find a two-tone paint scheme, class roof, optional wheels and dual-outlet exhaust. On the inside there is leather seating, 7in infotainment screen and steering wheel with not buttons on it. Powering the GT is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 mated to a 7-speed DCT. I know they sit high then most super cars, did you get yours lowered?
I left my suspension stock, its a perfect height to avoid scraping front and the bottom of the car going over bumps or stepper driveway I have zero scrapes and I never use the front lift system its not needed on this car @@kevinopara8043
I got a good look at a McLaren GT in a parking garage. At first glance, its overall proportions and presence are similar to a C8. But when you look closer, details in the slightly more intricate body construction show why it costs multiples more as a supercar. Doesn't look like it's built on an assembly line for high volume mass production. And I'm saying this as a C8 owner.

Just compare the smooth, flowing lines of the GT vs the complex hard angles and jutting structures of the C8. I wanted to love the C8 but it just seems to be a c7 and c8 mashed together. Can't deny it's an awesome performer with a great price though.
Even the McLaren GT owners compare it to the looks of the C8. Nothing wrong with that.

There is an option for either tinted roof or the fancy one that tints and allows sunlight with the touch of a button.
Looked at and test drove a GT a few weeks ago and talked to owners. Depreciation is 20K a year NOT including mileage. Mclaren makes fantastic cars that I really like, but the electrical system is as reliable as Windows 95. Best comment from a 2023 GT owner..”every bad thing you hear about Mclaren is true”

I saw a matte gray few days ago. It’s nice looking. Wasn’t too outrageous looking. I personally would look elsewhere for the $. Even the new 2024 AMG GT got bigger, 4 seats. Def a bit cheaper.

The sun roof have a push button that you change the shade of the roof from clear to black so no sun or light is going thrue.
I think McLaren did a great job with this car . Alao mh dream spec whould be in a dark blue or black. When it comes to the inside . A red or brown interior whould look good.

This amazing car highlights the amazing value that the Corvette offers; because it a very similar car. I think the Corvette with its "AUTO LIFT" technology makes the Corvette more usable as a daily driver. It is a very nice supercar, and bringing the price down to 200k will make McClaren a lot of money because each drop of price increases the potential market by a large amount. I sure wish someone would come out with a very high RPM, very light, sports car for 40k. Use motorcycle tech and redline at 12k. That was the strategy of the old Honda sports car, that Jay Leno loves so much. These supercars are impossible to use here in California where the Highway Patrol is ever present.

Just looked at and when I say looked at admired an 23 ZO6 in person at a dealership. Red on tan. The style between the GT and the Z06 is Apples to Oranges. The ZO6 is aggressive AF while the GT is way more subdued but still as striking. The ZO6 was a convertible LT3 with an MSRP of 136k Vs the GT at 200k plus. The best interior has to go to the ZO6. All that said the ZO6 was the dealerships owner and he had just turned down an offer of 350k so I don’t know which would be my pick if I had the option. Definitely team Raiti on the wheels on the GT. Also the sheer size of the ZO6 is massive. I really don’t think it should or the regular C8 should wear the Corvette badge. It should have been further developed to be GM’s ultimate halo car. With every iteration of the corvette starting with the C4 in my humble opinion has drifted away from what Corvette started out as. My two cents.

They don’t tell you about the five grand here at 12,000 miles in maintenance check them out at McLaren dealer in Beverly Hills. Cheapest one on the lot was right at 300,000. I think I will take 2 Z06 Corvettes and I can change my own order for less than 100 bucks

In my humble opinion, the C8 is just more bang for the proverbial buck when compared to the McClaren. Nothing against the McClaren.
Beautiful car, but at 200k it doesn’t make up for the price gap in terms of performance, tech, or practicality. I’d get a C8/Z06 plus another luxury vehicle and not feel like I missed out on a thing. And I’d drive without obsessing over depreciation
