This is my favorite track from Princess Mononoke, and this cover is *so* beautiful. The overall sound really captures the feeling of mystery, power, and moving captured in the original movie. It feels like witnessing something powerful and frightening but also beautiful as an unknowing observer who won't be there for long, knowing this moment will not last. That's not even to speak on the technical skill displayed in the actual video. The cinematography, the composition, the use off all the different instruments, the "acting" and "storytelling" (as minimalist as they are, to let the music really shine). It's ALL excellent.
This is a real complex, complicated piece but you've nailed it! All hard efforts are evident in your interpretation and cinematography of the composition - simply amazing and breathtakingly beautiful. Ma mère m'emmène voir Princesse Mononoké, j'avais 7 ans, et j'avais retenu du film une belle aventure. 22 ans plus tard, je conserve un très fort attachement pour ce film, le second film de Miya largement distribué en France après la tentative de Studio Canal de distribuer Porco Rosso en 1995. Ta reprise sublime le travail de maître de Joe Hisaishi, j'en ai eu des frissons tout du long et les images du film qui me revenaient en tête. Je te tire mon chapeau !
Princesse Mononoke est sans doute un de mes Ghiblis préférés et ce cover est absolument magnifique ! Il me transporte directement dans le film et me donne envie de le regarder à nouveau ! C'est un travail époustouflant qui a été réalisé sur cette musique !!

Really beautiful! Such good storytelling, without saying a word! The most astonishing thing to me is how much peace I felt with the music and cinematics combined. Can you imagine that? It's not big houses or fast cars that make you almost cry becuase of their beauty, it's the things that have been there for humans thousands of years: a good story, an alluring melody and vivid nature. God, I can barely hold back my tears. Thank you for sharing your talent and hard work with us! But of course, without modern technology such masterpieces wouldn't exist for us to take in, so you have to give some credit to that.

@@EliottTordo_Erhu One do not simply walk in to Hayao Miyazaki's world, and make an interresting cover from it :p. More seriously, it can be tricky to made a good cover from an orchestral piece like this one, and i think you did well.
@@Gaut201 I agree, I was skeptical too at first when taking on this specific song because its ambiant and the melodies and harmonies of Hisaishi are quite specific and hard to render on the Erhu, happy with how it turned out in the end :)
