While I love her zeal, she is fairly new in the faith (meaning she takes God more seriously now) she is a babe in Christ. I get it that she wants to scream from the mountain tops, but this is why Paul talked to Timothy about new believers teaching and leading. It’s easy not only to become prideful(not saying she is), but also to confuse herself and less mature believers. Praying that God will give her revelation and lead her to a community of believers for discipleship.
I think she grew up Christian tbh. But maybe became born again a little recently? I think the arguments she used were quite weak as they’ve been debunked loads of times on TH-cam backed with scripture. I think it’s clear but sometimes I can’t be bothered to type long messages because I think not everything is for the comments .
She isn't new to the faith. She went through a traumatic experience losing someone very close to her. And went through a transformation so to speak (or crisis of faith) and she is now just more outspoken about her faith. Usually happens after someone has experienced a life-altering event. You become overzealous. I think she's young and she is actually really digging into the bible for the 1st and she just needs guidance (discipleship). Happens to the best of us.

Why would Jesus be asking the Father to make him God again. if "Glorify me with the glory I had with you before the world was" is to be interpreted as proof that Jesus is God in the same sense the Father is and coequal with the Father, then I would like to ask Trinitarians this question. Jesus is saying "Father make me coequal again" by saying "Father, Glorify me again with the same Glory that I shared with you before the world was". In Hebrews it says that God made Jesus a little lower than the angels (meaning He made Him a man). He is asking the Father to restore Him to His former Glory because His task as a human being would completed soon, and His natural body would carry the burden of ALL sin and sickness to death. By Himself, Jesus could do nothing. He needed the Holy Ghost to manifest the Love of the Father in the Earth so the people would believe first in the Son, then in the Father. In the same manner, Jesus needed the Father to restore Him back to His former Glory because, the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, but Heaven is God's Throne and Domain. Because the Father is Greater in role, Jesus still needed to be change into His Glorified Body in order to be in the Father's presence, same as we. The Father fulfilled Jesus' request by His Power. The Bible says that Jesus was raised from the dead by the Power of God. In that moment His body was Glorified. So much so that Mary didn't recognize Him. She thought she was talking to a gardner. China absolutely never said Jesus was not God. However she did explain it better for those like myself who have been asking for understanding (for years) about the trinity. I watched her video, afraid of what she was about to say. As I watched it more, the Holy Spirit within me lept with joy. It made perfect sense to me. God is doing something unusual in China, maybe because she's so young & new to the faith so she has a boldness to speak things that will upset the hierarchy that's formed among Christians. I pray God continues to use her & she continues to question & speak boldly the revelations God reveals to her. Amen.
When i was reading John 1 over and over again because i cant undettsand the trinity like this verse said this and that idk what is right . I have a lot of respect for @Preston Perry but his response is very unclear. China actually used scriptures to explain but Preston made the statement that “he believes the bible states that there is one God that exists in 3 co-equal persons” 6:46-7.26. Where is the bible verse that states this? The claim is that this statement is irresponsible but she actually supported through scripture which is very responsible.

This was a very mindful experience, to hear the gospel being broken down intellectually, in such a casual way that the holy trinity can be comprehended as well as understood by commoners & intellectuals alike. You will only have true peace when you read the bible with an open mind and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you, not when you have a Trinitarian try to give an explanation or rebuttal based on conjectured explanations that are not supported by scriptures. When Jesus said: "My Father is greater than I", that settles it. This was an absolute statement that has no contextualization. He expected the listeners to take that word as an absolute. It is Trinitarians who read their own conjecture and speculation into that verse and claim that Jesus was only speaking positionally and not in essence - whereas Jesus never made such a distinction The Father is the only one who innately has life in himself. I think Philippians 2:6-8 sums it up very nicely…..Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. The Holy Spirit futher made me understand Him. When you get saved you receive the Holy Spirit. Which is the Spirit of God ,which is God Himself. Now the Holy Spirit is physically and spiritually populated all over the earth because Believers/Christians are everywhere right. Now the Holy Spirit being God is present in our bodies. We are His Temple remember. But remember we are Fleshly Human Beings who Received the Holy Spirit. Our Lord was the Spirit Himself but received our Bodies. It's a vice versa situation. God became like us, so that through the Justified work of the Cross He could dwell with us. Which I believe was His plan from the beginning because He physically fellowshiped with Adam and Eve. He didn't just create them and leave them but He would visit them and they could stand in His Presence because they were without sin. Now think about our Lord Jesus Christ, He Being God, was able to walk the earth as God and still be in the Heavens. Think about it. The Holy Spirit is physically and spiritually present in every believer yet He is God and is in Heaven. We cannot separate Him from God. He is God's very own Spirit. So God dwells in You and in the Heavenly places. It's the Same with Jesus. You cannot separate Him from God just because He posessed a Body and walked the earth. Even the Holy Spirit is a Person. Sometimes we forget that God can do anything He desires. He can be here and there at the same time. Just because we don't understand it, doesn't mean it's not possible or true.

And if you’re gonna mention Revelation 1:14-15 that verse has nothing to do with his race or earthly appearance. It is describing what John saw in his vision; how Jesus revealed himself to John, in his divine form. It’s meant to appear terrifying to our eyes. And since the book of revelation is a book of symbols I think we’re making the mistake of taking every part of it too seriously. Since Jesus is an extension of God he isn't less holy than God unless you are saying that there are parts of God that is less holy than others and that is blasphemy. Wow, it's so awesome how we can always learn from scripture and in our relationship with God, new revelations every day about God and His word. I didn't realize that God was never alone so therefore He actually excercises His love when being in commune with The Holy Spirit and The Word (Jesus). That just made my heart full of gladness. What I have come to learn is that the Bible is a mystery. There is a difference of knowing the Bible as information and knowing it as a Revelation. When you approach it from a Revelation point of view, then you are less likely to question and more likely to be still and wait for revelation

Point is, the trinity needs to stop being preached. It's not real and was never real. This doctrine was formulated and influenced by paganism man's opinions and Greek philosophy thanks to the likes of Philo of Alexandria and Tertullian and was later adopted by the church in 325AD. This doctrine is nowhere in the Bible
We can not merely explain God, without proper biblical hermeneutics period. Even that is as far as the Lord has allowed us to go because our minds and hearts could not contain even the books that have not been told to us.
I had these same conversations with a lot of people and I usually ask what was the charge that lead to Jesus Crucifixion? It was the claim to be God in the flesh. I love the book of John because it express the I Am claim clear. Great video

I feel a sense of love and genuine truth seeking from both of these people and I love that! I watched China's video first, and now this one. I actually appreciate what both of them have said but I just want to share a couple of observations. - China was clear that she is open to correction; that she just wanted to have this conversation in love. (What a beautiful attitude to have!) - China was never saying that Jesus is NOT God, she was saying that for the first time she was questioning the biblical accuracy of the Trinity doctrine that she had been taught. That is, the one that states no one of the three parts is greater than the others. I feel like Preston was using verses to counter what she said that simply confirm that Jesus is God, but that doesn't seem to be what China is questioning. Again, I love that we are here to seek truth, and I hope we do it in love, thank you!
He shared how they are equal. From China's discourse she expressed that Jesus is not equal with God. She took Jesus' words of God being greater than him as a "God." His response clears up the point that they are equal with one another but different in roles.

Throughout the bible the Lord constantly says I AM ONE. In a place He says I AM ONE and there is none else beside me!!! Isa 45:5 there has never been any other god but God alone. This trinity derived from the Catholic church and many churches have come from her, with different names but the same belief system. Jesus the Christ /was the house/a body/a temple that God prepared for Himself To dwell in and redeem the world back to Himself, this is why that body had to be sinless. This is why man could not have had anything to do with this chosen virgin, she could not have the trace of sin inside her(seed of a man) because if so then sin would enter in upon the anointed on one(Christ) and there would be no perfection. For GOD to enter this body and dwell in it, Joseph could not be the seed giver, he could not have sex with throughout the whole pregnancy. Think about it, Jesus grew up exactly the way every human does no? Because a man had to undo what man had done! So, because a MAN gave up all rights, and step into disobedience by listening to, and acting upon the words of the enemy, GOD loved us so much that He put together the PERFECT plan for a MAN to take it all back. Unfortunately the best and only scripture that says that or is the closest to clearly stating that God is three persons in one (the actual Trinity definition) was added to the scriptures by the Catholic Church in the 4th century in Latin, then later added in the Greek and Language copies in the 15th century. Some scholars call this addition to the new testament the “Comma Johanneum”, I’m sure you could find it if you Google it. I used to try to justify the Trinity over 20 year ago because it was what everybody said, but the more times I read the whole Bible and studied verses, almost every scripture people tried to use there were some kind of issue(s) that was attached to it, so I simply took the written word for what it actually says in context and/or the understanding God gave me to believe for Doctrine not always what I was told and taught by other people that’s not actually written in the scriptures.

Although God does call Jesus God, with the understanding that He is the God of Jesus in the following verses in that passage and the same verses was said about David in the OT, being that Jesus will rule and make David's kingdom last forever. Jesus is the son of David and the Son of God, thus he has many of the titles, names, inheritance, and authority of Lord, King, and God, from both of his fathers, David and God. Although Jesus is greater than David because of his divine inheritance being the son of God who God created everything through. The scriptures said that Jesus would be called "mighty God", but the titles of Almighty God, the Most High God, Lord God Almighty, only true God, and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob refers to the Father. Jesus was God with us, I believe because he was God's son and because it states that "God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself" (2 Cor 5:19). Jesus is the way, and/or my way to God (the Father). I can say Jesus is my God also being that God created everything through him and has given him a name, power, and authority to give me life and to Judge me in the end. Jesus did not say: "I and my Father are one God". The oneness he was speaking about was their unity and harmony. He made it clear in the gospels when he explained this context and said: "May they be one even as we are one". This has nothing to do with them being one coequal God.

I completely agree with China . God is not a God of confusion . The trinity is mans theology it’s Found no where in the Torah or the New Testament. I would rather not even reference it .
To be fair, outside the doctrine of the Trinity, there’s plenty of other things about the Bible and the theologies drawn from it that are confusing to people. And in some cases it appears as though certain passages in scripture seemingly “contradict” (emphasis on seemingly) another part of scripture. And that’s even if you don’t try to read your own theology into it. No God is not the author of confusion, but that doesn’t mean scriptures much less the God of the Scriptures is not complex. And because it’s complex it shouldn’t be a surprise when people stumble with theology or doctrine related to Scripture; it’s the reason even well meaning Christians read the same Bible but come to different conclusions. It’s not just about the Trinity. I think the mistake that we’ve made is assuming that scripture is as simple as Reading a children’s book. It’s not. So I love how you broke down the trinity. While I agree with the triune nature of God I believe where a lot of people get confused is where we as Christians declare one “one God three persons” logically it cannot make sense. I love how one person commented and forgive me for not getting their name, God is beyond logic. Humanity while being the most intelligent creatures God has created, are stile limited in our understanding by our finite minds. We essentially are bound to logic. There are many aspects of God that we will not understand until Christ returns. I do appreciate how you broke down love as one of the essential attribute of God as being proof of the Triune nature of God. I never thought of it in that sense. I commented on one creators page that actually posted Chyna’s video that the Doctrine of the trinity is no where explicitly stated in Scripture. You presented many powerful references that direct readers to the conclusion the God is indeed triune but nowhere does Scripture clearly spell it out for us. That being said I do agree with the doctrine of the trinity and offer that it is complicated at best. I applaud you for stepping up to the plate and accepting the calling to open a dialog or a conversation, and not just presenting an argument.

I am simple saying that Jesus acts as a mediator between us and the Father and without him we have no connection to the Father. Jesus only claims to be “the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18). The Trinity teaches Jesus is the 2nd person of a Godhead....where is the verse of Scripture says or teaches that? The Trinity is an extremely liberal interpretation of scripture...the Jews never believed in a Trinity...not back in Moses day nor now.
While I love her zeal, she is fairly new in the faith (meaning she takes God more seriously now) she is a babe in Christ. I get it that she wants to scream from the mountain tops, but this is why Paul talked to Timothy about new believers teaching and leading. It’s easy not only to become prideful(not saying she is), but also to confuse herself and less mature believers. Praying that God will give her revelation and lead her to a community of believers for discipleship.

I think the arguments she used were quite weak as they’ve been debunked loads of times on TH-cam backed with scripture. I think it’s clear but sometimes I can’t be bothered to type long messages because I think not everything is for the comments .
She isn't new to the faith. She went through a traumatic experience losing someone very close to her. And went through a transformation so to speak (or crisis of faith) and she is now just more outspoken about her faith. Usually happens after someone has experienced a life-altering event. You become overzealous. I think she's young and she is actually really digging into the bible for the 1st and she just needs guidance (discipleship). Happens to the best of us.

Why would Jesus be asking the Father to make him God again. if "Glorify me with the glory I had with you before the world was" is to be interpreted as proof that Jesus is God in the same sense the Father is and coequal with the Father, then I would like to ask Trinitarians this question. Yes. Jesus is saying "Father make me coequal again" by saying "Father, Glorify me again with the same Glory that I shared with you before the world was". In Hebrews it says that God made Jesus a little lower than the angels (meaning He made Him a man). He is asking the Father to restore Him to His former Glory because His task as a human being would completed soon, and His natural body would carry the burden of ALL sin and sickness to death. By Himself, Jesus could do nothing. He needed the Holy Ghost to manifest the Love of the Father in the Earth so the people would believe first in the Son, then in the Father. In the same manner, Jesus needed the Father to restore Him back to His former Glory because, the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, but Heaven is God's Throne and Domain. Because the Father is Greater in role, Jesus still needed to be change into His Glorified Body in order to be in the Father's presence, same as we.
The Father fulfilled Jesus' request by His Power. The Bible says that Jesus was raised from the dead by the Power of God. In that moment His body was Glorified. So much so that Mary didn't recognize Him. She thought she was talking to a gardner. For anyone who goes to Heaven, the Bible says, "we will be changed in a moment; in the twinkling of an eye". Jesus' Glorification wasn't eventual. It happened in an instant.

China absolutely never said Jesus was not God. However she did explain it better for those like myself who have been asking for understanding (for years) about the trinity. I watched her video, afraid of what she was about to say. As I watched it more, the Holy Spirit within me lept with joy. It made perfect sense to me. God is doing something unusual in China, maybe because she's so young & new to the faith so she has a boldness to speak things that will upset the hierarchy that's formed among Christians. I pray God continues to use her & she continues to question & speak boldly the revelations God reveals to her. Amen.

I have a lot of respect for @Preston Perry but his response is very unclear. China actually used scriptures to explain but Preston made the statement that “he believes the bible states that there is one God that exists in 3 co-equal persons” 6:46-7.26. Where is the bible verse that states this? The claim is that this statement is irresponsible but she actually supported through scripture which is very responsible.

It’s actually more simple than that. I have a body, a breath and a soul. Is my soul and breath separate from my body? Are they three different separate or is they all one? TBE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY GHOST are literally the same GOD. Just like the water being poured into a cup but then that same water gets frozen. You will only have true peace when you read the bible with an open mind and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you, not when you have a Trinitarian try to give an explanation or rebuttal based on conjectured explanations that are not supported by scriptures. The Father is the only one who innately has life in himself. Jesus on the other hand was GRANTED to have life in himself. Also, the Father is the ONLY self-existing being. Now think about our Lord Jesus Christ, He Being God, was able to walk the earth as God and still be in the Heavens.
Think about it.

Okay I’m just give a straight answer. The Bible says nothing about Jesus’ skin color. And if you’re gonna mention Revelation 1:14-15 that verse has nothing to do with his race or earthly appearance. It is describing what John saw in his vision; how Jesus revealed himself to John, in his divine form. It’s meant to appear terrifying to our eyes. And since the book of revelation is a book of symbols I think we’re making the mistake of taking every part of it too seriously. If the way he’s described in revelation is the way he appeared while he was on earth, well pretty sure would’ve found it a little abnormal that Jesus had a sword sticking out of his mouth

I didn't realize that God was never alone so therefore He actually excercises His love when being in commune with The Holy Spirit and The Word (Jesus). That just made my heart full of gladness. Thar we serve a God who literally is what He says He is and Does what He says He does. God is good, He is loving towards us, and is Holy. But still chose us over everything, sent Himself in flesh form to die for us so we could forever be in His love. Only a Father love would die for His children.

We have a communal God, that has set forth a place of reverence to loved ones that are his, and is the aspiration of making such a referral to be reflected upon, that it makes those who are willing begin to understand, and set out to become better Christians in the knowledge of the Triune God. Jesus did two things, He speaks in behalf of the flesh and blood to set an example to mankind and He speaks as God. He sets examples to mankind like my 'Father is greater than me', ' No ones know when the Lord return', teaching them how to pray, minister, and baptized. And Jesus is God when he said, 'Before Abraham I Am' , ' If you don't believe that I am He, you will die in your sins'. 'I am the Way the Truth and the Life,' He walks on water, He heal the blinds and sick and of course, the Resurrection.
Behind that flesh is God doing all the operations. That's why 2 Cor 5:19 said

We can not merely explain God, without proper biblical hermeneutics period. Even that is as far as the Lord has allowed us to go because our minds and hearts could not contain even the books that have not been told to us.

I watched China's video first, and now this one. I actually appreciate what both of them have said but I just want to share a couple of observations.
- China was clear that she is open to correction; that she just wanted to have this conversation in love. (What a beautiful attitude to have!)
- China was never saying that Jesus is NOT God, she was saying that for the first time she was questioning the biblical accuracy of the Trinity doctrine that she had been taught. That is, the one that states no one of the three parts is greater than the others.
I feel like Preston was using verses to counter what she said that simply confirm that Jesus is God, but that doesn't seem to be what China is questioning.

Throughout the bible the Lord constantly says I AM ONE. In a place He says I AM ONE and there is none else beside me!!! Isa 45:5 there has never been any other god but God alone. This trinity derived from the Catholic church and many churches have come from her, with different names but the same belief system.
Jesus the Christ /was the house/a body/a temple that God prepared for Himself To dwell in and redeem the world back to Himself, this is why that body had to be sinless.

Unfortunately the best and only scripture that says that or is the closest to clearly stating that God is three persons in one (the actual Trinity definition) was added to the scriptures by the Catholic Church in the 4th century in Latin, then later added in the Greek and Language copies in the 15th century. Some scholars call this addition to the new testament the “Comma Johanneum”, I’m sure you could find it if you Google it.
I used to try to justify the Trinity over 20 year ago because it was what everybody said, but the more times I read the whole Bible and studied verses, almost every scripture people tried to use there were some kind of issue(s) that was attached to it, so I simply took the written word for what it actually says in context and/or the understanding God gave me to believe for Doctrine not always what I was told and taught by other people that’s not actually written in the scriptures.

The Father answers to no one and is the God of Jesus. Jesus states this at least 4 or more times referring to Him as "my God". Although God does call Jesus God, with the understanding that He is the God of Jesus in the following verses in that passage and the same verses was said about David in the OT, being that Jesus will rule and make David's kingdom last forever. Jesus is the son of David and the Son of God, thus he has many of the titles, names, inheritance, and authority of Lord, King, and God, from both of his fathers, David and God. Although Jesus is greater than David because of his divine inheritance being the son of God who God created everything through. The scriptures said that Jesus would be called "mighty God", but the titles of Almighty God, the Most High God, Lord God Almighty, only true God, and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob refers to the Father. Jesus was God with us, I believe because he was God's son and because it states that "God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself" (2 Cor 5:19).
Jesus is the way, and/or my way to God (the Father). I can say Jesus is my God also being that God created everything through him and has given him a name, power, and authority to give me life and to Judge me in the end. I say these things because they are all written and with the understanding that Christ is the head of man (me) and God is the head of Christ. (1 Cor 11:13)

To understand God we are given images and likenesses from the beginning. That’s why marriage is Holy, set apart. It’s a (picture) of our (Relationship) with Christ as we follow him, stay with him, never leave him, forever Bride and Groom so our children may know Gods faithfulness through our faithful relationship with our spouse.
In the same way, God wanted us to see and know the Relationship of Father and Son, and the Spirit that bonds them together for eternity. They want us to enter into their Love, Forgiveness, Grace, Joy and Peace. We can’t be saved now by simply obeying these rules after breaking them because God is Just. He must punish sin. So he sent Jesus to take our punishment, to restore Love for God within us. This is their purpose, this is the God heads purpose, to capture our hearts again. Then in love we return to the obedience of being the image and likeness of God in all things. We repent (hearts turned back to God) and Believe in him as a Loving Father, Believe in the Son as our Loving Groom. In this we have received The Spirit of The One God, Father Son and Spirit.
The Father is making us LIKE them. They are making us like them, faithful and loving. God, Father, Son and their Spirit within them, all want us to know them and have their Spirit poured into us through the Good News.
You can’t have God in fullness without Knowing Father, Son and Spirit. They are God. One God in 3 persons. To deny any of them as God separates them. And you are in sin again.
God is making us his Children. He is making us into the image of Christ Jesus who was with the Father and in the Father from the beginning.

Jesus did not say: "I and my Father are one God". The oneness he was speaking about was their unity and harmony. He made it clear in the gospels when he explained this context and said: "May they be one even as we are one". This has nothing to do with them being one coequal God.

Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also.” It doesn’t say your a liar if you don’t believe that Jesus is God, it says you are a liar if you deny Jesus is the Christ. Which means anointed One. It doesn’t mean if you deny the Trinity, that you wouldn’t have eternal life.

To be fair, outside the doctrine of the Trinity, there’s plenty of other things about the Bible and the theologies drawn from it that are confusing to people. And in some cases it appears as though certain passages in scripture seemingly “contradict” (emphasis on seemingly) another part of scripture. And that’s even if you don’t try to read your own theology into it. No God is not the author of confusion, but that doesn’t mean scriptures much less the God of the Scriptures is not complex. And because it’s complex it shouldn’t be a surprise when people stumble with theology or doctrine related to Scripture; it’s the reason even well meaning Christians read the same Bible but come to different conclusions. It’s not just about the Trinity. I think the mistake that we’ve made is assuming that scripture is as simple as Reading a children’s book. It’s not. For starters it wasn’t even written to us 21st century Christians.

So I love how you broke down the trinity. While I agree with the triune nature of God I believe where a lot of people get confused is where we as Christians declare one “one God three persons” logically it cannot make sense. I love how one person commented and forgive me for not getting their name, God is beyond logic. Humanity while being the most intelligent creatures God has created, are stile limited in our understanding by our finite minds. We essentially are bound to logic. There are many aspects of God that we will not understand until Christ returns. I do appreciate how you broke down love as one of the essential attribute of God as being proof of the Triune nature of God. I never thought of it in that sense. I commented on one creators page that actually posted Chyna’s video that the Doctrine of the trinity is no where explicitly stated in Scripture. You presented many powerful references that direct readers to the conclusion the God is indeed triune but nowhere does Scripture clearly spell it out for us. That being said I do agree with the doctrine of the trinity and offer that it is complicated at best. I applaud you for stepping up to the plate and accepting the calling to open a dialog or a conversation, and not just presenting an argument.

The way you worded “Catholic” assumed a monolithic body. Also Catholics aren’t the only ones who are trinitarian. Every Christian is a trinitarian.

There's a lot of people that still believe this. But I'm not surprised because the trinity isn't the easiest concept to figure out lol. We will never know 100% about the trinity.
