cannon are much better in terms of dps, but siphos are still great at crowd control, but very challenging to use it in the current meta edit: both unit excel in different situation, narrow long corridor? cannon narrow chokepoint? siphos under enemy ranged fire? cannon enemy spam siege equipments? cannon enemy spam infantries only? siphos there's a lot of different situation ask for 2 different unit, look at the map, look how how others are using the unit, then learn what fits what situation not to mention it highly depends on your playstyle, would you like to play hit and run, or roll and shoot, shoot and scoot?
@Jm_-db1ie I felt they are made for different situations, and quite often in ranked I feel that fireman would fit so great against enemy phalanx spam at choke points, but my concern was it's ability to make kills. I think it does not have the same capabilities to make a good amount of kills and is much more of a support unit, it may win some battles for me, but I am gonna be like an unrecognized hero, also I was concerned about how difficult is it to use the unit since it's range is not really safe and survivability is extremely low

Hi there, ik this is a older video. But this is pre nerf correct? I mean their range is 30 meters in this montage, not 15 (as in todays)
yes, this is old vid before the nerf, they are cap at 18m as of today.

sometimes people ask me why i use flamies or falcos when we need hero kills, i just look at them XD
tbh, i found easier to use firelancer, tercio if you want hero kills
