- I've used the Google pixel 6 for nearly 2 years as my daily driver. I have listed down all the pros and cons of my usage so far. Is it worth buying in 2024 ? Watch my entire review to know the exact details.

Things I liked
1) Regular software updates : 0:51 to 1:22
2) Built quality : 1:22 to 1:44
3) Cameras : 1:45 to 2:21
4) Stereo speakers : 2:22 to 2:57
5) Earpiece : 2:58 to 3:20
Things I didn't like
1) Performance : 3:29 to 4:20
2) Heating : 4:21 to 4:50
3) Display : 4:51 to 5:36
4) Charging speed : 5:37 to 6:06
5) Cell reception & WiFi range : 6:07 to 6:39
Conclusion : 6:40 to 9:13

just bought one recently second hand for 14000 rupees in very good condition. Best phone ive ever had but im a casual user, so I dont really mind the Cons youve mentioned. Great video and your a very sympathic guy.

I guess i was fortunate because i never had any major issues with the Pixel 6 and i had it a few times. The brightness and slight overheating were the biggest issues I had. I always found the performance to be solid and overall it was a huge improvement over the previous Pixel devices. And i am a pretty heavy phone user too. Especially now for the price it's actually a great deal. You get an almost flagship experience for less.

I had to pixel 6 also and had the same problems that you had. I recently traded in for the Google Pixel pro 8 and I'm loving the experience I'm having with it. So glad I got rid of that pixel 6.
Does the pixel 8 pro heat up a lot when pushed hard ?
Thinking of buying a Pixel 6 for long term use. I just scroll social media and watch movies all day. But i do take photos a lot. You can say it's kinda my passion. There's also s21 5g available in the similar budget range. Dont know which one to take.
You won't go wrong with either. The pixel 6 will receive security patches for a bit longer than the S21. In terms of the chipset the Snapdragon 888 in the S21 is superior when compared to the tensor G1 in the pixel 6. The pixel 6 is quite heavy at nearly 210 grms. The S21 is a lot less lighter at just 170 grms.
I'm debating getting 6 refurbished for 180$ USD. I really like the large screen and would mostly use it for internet searches. And youtube. I also want to try a Google phone without spending a lot of money. It will be a improvement over my 5 yr old samsung
S150 to $180 dollars is a decent price brother. You have mentioned your usage style, it will suit you just fine. Im not very sure about you purchasing it refurbished. See to it that they provide you with 3 or 6 months of warranty, Incase of something going wrong with the phone. Above all you need to be careful about the motherboard. If that malfunctions you'll land up paying more than what you have paid for the refurbished pixel 6. Use it moderately and it should serve you fine.
I was thinking of getting either the moto g power 2023 or pixel 6a brand new
@@reynaldogonzalez5919 : The moto edge 40 is also a good option. Except the cameras it beats the pixel 6a in every area.
@@LVT718 well I got it from Amazon 180$. From "prime cellutations". It came DIRTY. not refurbished at all. Phone isn't in bad condition just fresh case lines and dirt everywhere. They didn't even try cleaning. Also the USB doesn't give a solid feedback when I plug it in... Is that just pixel? I'm used to a click not just smooshing it in. Works fine. Who knows about battery

Got my pixel 6 pro on release in Oct 2021 and I really want to upgrade to the 8 pro but I feel that it isn't a huge upgrade and I should wait for the pixel 9 pro
As per reports, the tensor G5 will be made by TSMC. If this is confirmed I'd advise you to skip even the pixel 9 pro which will run the tensor G4 and buy the Pixel 10 pro which would launch in 2025. The tensor is nothing but a rebadged Exynos Samsung flagship processor, the phones performance will worsen year after year if pushed hard everyday. Use it for mainly basic tasks.

I have the pixel 6A and it's the best phone I've ever had. I used to have Samsungs and LG's and they don't come close to the 6A.
