Very helpful and well made tutorial. I would also like to suggest making a tutorial for pre cast concrete panels which could be used as a cladding material on the side of a multi story building. I am having extreme difficulties creating such a family..and its very frustrating.

This is great! Tried making a double glazing partition and it worked! Thank you so much

When you model the glass it doesn't act like the default system panel, which btw we can't edit. For example, when you edit mullion family and offset mullions back by the thickness of glass, glazed panels snap to gridlines on the curtain wall, in front of mullions, creating a butt-glazed facade look. However, if you create a panel family yourself, when you model the glass, you can't create a constraint that snaps to gridlines, which results in glass remaining inside the mullions.
