    The sickest thing about this is people blaming him for losing this series after averaging 38/8/8 with 1blk and 1stl on 49%. People are crazy .

      @ Fire Angel Luffo IKR just straight up hate. I honestly use to firmly think that he came up really short for his standards in game 6 but after recently watching his highlights from that game I noticed that he was actually forced to pass up the ball for a huge amount of possessions. So basically the magic, knowing that no other player on the Cavs (except for mabe Mo Williams) had no shot like LBJ at taking over an elimination game with such high stakes, doubled or perhaps even tripled on LeBron which forced him to pass to role plyers like Daniel Gibson, Big Z and Varejao who had like zero shot against the best center/ defensive player of the league at the time. Let's be real for a second. If KD on OKC or Brooklyn had those plyers as teammates he would never have a shot for a title. Just facts!

    I remember this series, it was almost like God was on Orlando's side. Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu were so clutch this series, Lewis hit the game winning 3 in game 1, Turkoglu hit a game winning jumper in game 2 only it was cancelled by Lebrons own game winner and then Lewis hit the big 3 to put them up 2 in regulation in game 4 and then the entire magic team exploded in OT. The amount of clutch shots those 2 made were ridiculous.

    • @troyalexander52
      @troyalexander52 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Didn't help that Lewis and Turkoglu were doped up on PED's the whole series lol. Orlando was still the better overall team, but I don't know if Hedo and Rashard hit those shots if they're sober, hence making it a 7 game series.

    • @poly_g6068

      They both shot over 47% from three. THE ENTIRE SERIES. It looked like they were on adderall or something. They literally shot better than Steph and Klay Thompson, before the dynasty Warriors even existed. That was the only way they beat MVP LeBron averaging 38/8/8. It's not talked about enough.

    That series was amazingly good, despite the lost, Lebron played very well and pretty much showed the limitation a human can reach single handedly in the NBA. Also the East at that time (2009-2012) was very good, no other player could come close to this kind of level if they were in the same situation. The top eastern teams in those years are either as good or even better than the top teams in the west during that time. Magic played super well too that series, especially Rashard Lewis with the clutch shots in game 1 and game 3. In Lebron haters defense I would say that Lebron got some calls that worked in the Cavs favor, but overall he did amazingly well.

      That's what I thought at the time, but there was so much more wrong with this matchup defensively that his scoring was never going to be enough. The Cavs needed defenders to stop the 3. Period. They had Dwight, but I promise you the best way to handle him this series would have been to let him eat. The shooters killed the Cavs. LeBron was a lockdown defender this season but the Magic had 4 knockdown shooters and he can only switch onto Dwight so many times before he has to recover to the 3 point line and watch it go in. Mike Brown should've just made him take Rashard Lewis the whole series and live with Dwight averaging 40.

      38 8 and 8 and still lose the series. Name a player that pit up those numbers and didn't win unless they were on a bad team

      His best teammate was literally Mo Williams who has the same odds of making the HOF as all of us in this comment section combined.

      Mo Williams did exactly what he needed to do, at best under performed a little bit, Orlando was on fire and a little lucky.

      @@gorrow1990 And with the team he had, the Cavs were the #1 seed in the league and had the best defense that season. So why act like the team was some garbage #8 seed or something? Bron was heavily favored in this series. lol
