Oh Im glad that the "and atune from the notifaction bell" isn't gone for good lol For a second there It looked like you had a new opening/intro type thing going on.
I miss Arcane Weapon from Unearthed Arcana Artificer. My favorite things about it was it could be added to a weapon that's already magical and still work on infusions, unlike Magic/Elemental Weapon spells.
My party has a divine soul sorcerer who was thinking about taking _aid_ and then I pointed out how well it works with Inspiring Leader. He took both when he got the chance and now we're so much more durable it's crazy.
Anyone in heavy or medium armor, frankly. The spell will end before you can take it off. So you're taking at _least_ 20d8 fire damage. If someone hits you with _heat metal_ and you're rocking a now blisteringly hot set of plate, your best bet is to run up and grab the caster for a high-temperature hug. Break concentration, or you're (quite literally) toast.
Tiny servant is useful for programming actions with items. You can command a servant to activate immovable rod that’s embedded in your armor if you fall 10ft for example. You can have them activate your spell storing item. When you realize this there’s so much possibility in creating different effects. Casting shatter 10 times with one bonus action can nuke a battlefield.
Eh, they're Prepared casters and swapping a spell is easier than swapping a known Infusion, and nothing stops you from having both if you need to outfit multiple people, so it has its uses I'd say
@@neoman4426 that is it exactly. Yes you get a magic weapon with the infusion but casting the spell lets you give the second magic weapon to someone else. Like say that fighter, paladin, ranger and barbarian that has all those attacks. It also depends on your DM, if they are generous with magical weapons or if they are stingy.
Something I think would be fun is as you guys are talking about spells that require VSM- you go over the material and discuss fun ways to role play your character casting that spell. Some material spells open the door for fun and creative way to describe how you cast that spell
Tiny Servent is amusing. I have to check it again--but I'm pretty sure their action usage is open. So.. level 11 spell item. You could have them use the item-pass it onw, use the item, pass it on. it blows through your resources FAST. but if you need it ~now~ that's a thing.
Thanks.. Hey guys.. I have an 8th level Assassin er He's a Rock gnome.. During 3 campaigns He was on a Comet. My character was sent back in time. My dad's world ( the past is modern-day ) for 2 years my character learnt 4 languages , being an Armorer/Weapon Master.. So he learnt as much of the past.
Aid is a funny way to fake a Mas healing Word. if multiple party members are down. you can use that. Their current hit points DO go up. Meaning if they're at 0-they are now at 5. Even if you cast it on the same person again-they don't stack, so the new spell overlaps the old, their max hp doesn't change. But they now are at 5hp because that portion has no stacking issue
Yeah I'm setting up a pantheon inspired by a few the champs (yorick, pantheon, Olaf, Soraka) and such are a few exsampels granted the gods still walk the world (at least the lesser gods that is)
I'm interested in this mostly because in play the artificer was not very strong or to be honest very useful but that could have been the characters build they seem very build dependent
Heres a question. You keep talking about using spells to escape prison.... How are you getting a tool kit to cast spells in prison? You can't cast anything without a tool or infused item. I guess if you get put onto the cook line for the prison (if they have one) and you have Cook Utinsils Tool profiency, you might be able to wing it that way. I suppose infuse item requries no tools to infuse them. but it does require a base item. I don't know many prisons that let you have things that would qualify for ones you would usually know. Well if you had something like Boots specific infusions you might have gboots in prison. but really exception of boots, most items you won't have in prison to Infusue. Actually this is one reason I'd consider implanting a gem inside myself so I could dig it out if I had to, to infuse a homunculus. Or swallow anyway. Depends on how "small" a 100gp gem can be. I'd prefer to just implant it in an arm if you can have a really tiny one. That way you'd always have an extra one. (using a different gem as normal culus). Sure you'd have to dig through your arm a bit o get it-which then means healing yourself as your first spell after. but still.
Can't be under the effect of multiple instances of a spell or feature with the same name, while their durations overlap only the stronger is in play and the other is suppressed.

If you are in a prison you likely don't have anything to use as a spellcasting focus and thus would be incapable of casting ANY spells unless you find an object comparable with one of the infusions you know which you could then use as a spell focus
If you're in a prison and use tiny servant, to heck with a pebble. Animate your cutlery from your dinner so the fork can literally run away with the spoon to go get you the keys!

I can see a shopkeep artificer using tiny servant, kind of like the small drones in Star Wars who fix the pod racers.

The wording on tiny servant about getting a key always makes me think of the opening to the book Warbreaker
Heat Metal is an instant kill on most Warforged. They literally can not doff their integrated armor fast enough.

Magic weapon is a bit useless for artificers tbh, as you do have the enhanced weapon infusion that does the same thing

No mention of web, literally one of the best control spells in the whole game.

I tried to make my own list not using your choices, but yours ended up better.
Could you cast tiny servant on a adamantine sculpture and would it get DR/?
cook and book
A-Z League of Legends builds would be a cool theme for videos. Lots of cool PC and monster/villain ideas to mine from that game.

I found that to be the same so I said fucking and let him do all he's artifact for the amount of infusions known
At 6:52 I think Ted's inner villain tried to take over. Ringtone anyone?
I’m just imagining casting enhance ability on yourself as a character materializing a bottle of pills and downing the entire bottle.
Best items magic or otherwise for rogues and bards.
How about enhance ability on an spell storing item? Free boost. :D
Is Artificer enunciated differently in D&D?
No, just in nerdarchy. Like "kai".
I’d like to know your favorite stock NPCs
"Essential" and "Artificer". I never expected to hear those two words in one sentence...
Attune! Whew. So glad you brought that back, doesn't seem like a Nerdarchy vid without it! Great vid again guys!

Thieves tools, my dude. Specifically designed to be smuggled into prison.

Verbal component, "Hey diddle diddle."
Not thematic? A artificer is a magic blacksmith. Heat metal? Not thematic.
