This is just my personal preference but the race is more exciting if the lanes merge into a single wide lane in the middle or end of the track, and the cars have the chance to block other cars (or spin out of control themselves). I guess this applies more to mario kart line than other hot wheels lines because it simulates an actual mario kart race. :)
