Cole keeps getting better and better to me, and unlike some who are seen as among the very best, Cole always sounds good! He’s rhyming entire sentences throughout and holds for example the “er” scheme forever.. I even like how he throws in the “really, Coles pen be lethal” real quick near the end to keep that rhyme scheme going.. and while the “really-E no mc=“ bar is cool, same with the bread in mass, etc.. his ability to paint a picture like he does to start his verse is what separates him for me, that and the fact he always sounds good! it is music after all…

ive seen many reactions to this song but many people keep missing that line where he says "where the corpses was 'laying' " coles pronounces it as 'lying" implying that the "cops were lying" this ties to the police brutality in the states. and he continues to say "the young boy that walks with lion. this one ties to that butcher line about 'feline agility', butches lives the thug life and many people die in the process and cole be on the outline of the chalk where the corpses are lyin' coz he's not really into thug life but since hes on a feature with benny, he is walking around some lions
Cole keeps getting better and better to me, and unlike some who are seen as among the very best, Cole always sounds good! He’s rhyming entire sentences throughout and holds for example the “er” scheme forever.. I even like how he throws in the “really, Coles pen be lethal” real quick near the end to keep that rhyme scheme going.. and while the “really-E no mc=“ bar is cool, same with the bread in mass, etc.. his ability to paint a picture like he does to start his verse is what separates him for me, that and the fact he always sounds good! it is music after all…
