I just discovered this version of this masterpiece of exuberance and soul. The lyrics and music are the now the soundtrack playing in my mind while dealing with many of the challenging experiences I am confronting. I work in community mental health and have a lived experience of depression that has nearly killed me. Music with soul literally saved my life. This song is a both a timeless love song and defiant celebration of life. Chrissie Hyne's voice and Vangelis music = spiritual experience of the highest order.

Deffo a work of art to go along with the best remix of my most favourite back in the day tune. I was blessed that I heard this out in a dusty dirty warehouse in Deptford south london under railway arches back in I think 90/91 on a 5 buzz. Nearest thing to heaven on earth. Best days of our lives.
I was soooo looking forward to this. 26 minutes worth of mixed goodness, was thoroughly enjoying it too. However, when the MLK came up, to me, it ruined it (yes just like the original Moodfood Moodswings version). YES I DO GET that this is 'state of Independence' AND YES I DO GET that he stood for what should be (even in (so sadly I have to say) in 2020) and that is rightfully so important.... But it is why love the 'Audacity mix' and 'Lost Startrek' mix so much, because without the edited in speech and cheers from the crowd he was speaking to..... This track just flows better (obviously IMO) without distractions.... 🤔😎 Anyway, stay safe people, and be good to each ot 😊her, all creeds and colours in 2020
