Infinite druid combo:
Step One: loose your wincon
Step Two: Just trust in Yogg 1% if the times works every time
1% of the time it works 100% of the time
The second poison seeds was checkmate, because Roffle got to make his board of giant dudes first. Rogue had no method of taunting their side or gaining armor, so they could never hope to withstand more than 30 damage in a single turn. Saving a full hand of jades wouldn't do anything.
No it wasn't. Opponent could've killed off at least some of the board and started making a wall of jade monsters that could take care of Roffle's wall once it came out. But yeah, it would still be tough to tie.
@@carpetclimber4027 To do that they would have needed a way to clear their own treants, which they didn't have. Roffle had no minions on board to trade into and once the jade golems came out playing jades would be too slow to stop the already played jades.

I remember Roffle when he had 3k subs. Damn, time flies by.
I don’t think even saving idols would have worked for the rogue. Whoever puts down their idols first wins as they are also the first that can swing into the opponent. And Roffle had the added advantage of still having a poison seed, so he could clear the opponents idol set up even if they went first (Which they couldn’t do anyway, since they needed Roffle to have minions in order to clear their trees)
The opponent having a poison seed in their Tess poo basically lost it for them
Let's just get this straight. Roffle knew for a while that his opponent was in chat, then he purposefully said that they need to continue ramping their jades, just so that his opponent won't have the amount of minions neccessary to counter his plan. This was a win strategy straight out of an anime.

I run the 1x Linecracker, 2x Bees, 1x Earthern Scales (1 is totally enough), 1x Thaurissan, 1x Jade Idol in my Quest Druid List and it actually works pretty well because of the insane card draw, ramp and tempo to clear after Quest completion. Also summons 33% more Jades (doesnt need to shuffle)..And then like either Elise or Yogg for a Change of Plans.
I really can’t wait for this leg reveal! I’ve been waiting for so long!!!
I kinda want a system where if you get > 100 armor you get crushed under the weight of it and lose.
I bet there would be an obscure otk with that.
I think I disagree with the analysis you have at the end. Even if they saved up Jade Idols, they needed more than that. In order to actually counter push, they needed a way to win back the board initiative. If they got something with Taunt off of Swashbuckler (or another Poison Seeds) they might have been able to control the board long enough for you to not OTK them with a board of big Jades.
If they had just saved up Jade Idols and mirrored you, it wouldn't have prevented you from attacking them in the face for 30+ because they had no way to get their bigger Jades on board with the Treants in the way.
They should have:
Taken their treants and traded them into the biggest Jade you had (which they did)
Prayed for the Swashbuckler to get a relevant card (Poison Seeds, Scarabs maybe?)
Manipulated the board so they had enough Taunts to block but enough open spaces to summon their own Jades
Prayed the Math worked in their favor and you couldn't OTK.

This is a nice deck, but have you tried Icecream Shaman? Apparently Disguised Toast managed to get over 20,000 armor with it.
He's got a video of that round here somewhere.
Also, this deck has an Elise version that can get into the millions of armour. There's a clip somewhere of someone who got to somthing like 96 million armour after the Linecracker survived for another turn after they did the combo, since they still had all the pieces in hand but Floop's Glorious Goop was no longer in effect for the extra mana.
Ok here me out. Yogg can definitely kill you with 2500 armor. Yogg needs to cast fireland portal, then summon platebreaker from it, then treachery the platebreaker, then sap the platebreaker. Ez.

They should have saved Tess since they already played poison seeds, as soon as they wasted Tess they lost, and once they saw you play Tess they should have copied yours so that they had enough to bomb the board whenever you summon 7 idols. As soon as I saw them play Tess I knew they lost because they board locked themselves. Wasting flick on yogg was silly tho, since yogg is more likely to discard be your hand after that many spells. Really good win here. Honestly be this game really is gonna make me start running plate breaker

There wouldn't have been enough time. Valeera costs 9 which only allows for 1 Jade to be summoned the same turn. One massive Jade wouldn't have been enough to counter the 7 minion board Roffle built.

Yeah when he didn't play the pirates first to find a relevant answer is when he screwed up. You always play your outs first before doing anything else.
I'm sorry for not understanding but how was the opponent supposed to beat Roffle with the Jades? Even if he saved up jade idols, wouldn't Roffles's big turn come out before his making it no matter how many Jades he had since no taunt?
