in India we use a small iron cup filled with burning coal/wood....the moment u touch it to the mulching paper it will be a perfect hole and doing this will cost nothing. you can attach three or four cups and do the job within few hours. the way you are doing is nice but it will take much more time.
I would use a wheel barrel with a tire with spikes on it and put some dirt in the barrel for weight and just walk it down the rows. Or you could put that tire on a wheel and make a handel on each side off the axle and two people could walk it down the row, The weight of the wheel and tire would be enough to punch the holes or you could a weight across the arms.
I wonder if a body could fashion some hardware cloth in the PVC fittings and load the tires with seeds such that only a few seeds could pass. It looks like the dirt gets packed in the cut side of the fitting. Maybe it could be drilled or modified easily. Again, what an awesome tool you figured out there.
get a Rain Flo water wheel trans planter already. It will deliver water / fertilizer to every transplant that draws the plant roots and soil in close contact. That keeps the transplant from drying out, reducing trans plant shock. That allows you time to hook up the drip irrigation before the trans plant wilts in the sun.
@Joe Groucho, I have a machine that can do that and plant at the same time! Not to mention the saving of your back! lol If you want me to quote you a price, reply back! 😉
не той стороной крутит колесо,ведь белые так называемые дыроколы загнуты в другую сторону на скольжение , а наш герой крутит и получается с вырыванием ,чего из за пленки не видно
As a Film Manufacturing Engineer / Plant Manager I love this! I would like to know more details on the type of film you are using. I also design & build custom film equipment. For years now I have played with the idea of building a pull behind raised bed, layer, puncher hole maker & planter all in one. Then of course sell film for it. No middle man just me the manufacture, would save a lot of farmers money. Anyone looking to start a company? :)
Hey Sam if you read this, I can't reply in youtube mail? I have been trying to return your email. Contact me again with a phone number. Not high jacking your vid, I want to get into manufacturing this film. Thanks Murf!
Just strap them to your feet and walk down it, weight is present and no back issues as your just walking/stamping.

It requires more time & more energy to pull the tire.
Iron cup method is easy & fast.
this is about holes in the ground, not just mulch

Verry creative.. amazing.
By time I got to the end of that row I'd be going in the house for a nap.
Can u please show how u fix that mulching paper so tight.so well
Try it with a rim in it.
Or even simpler - just fill the bottom with water.
- just my two sense from a city-raised, aspiring farmer:)
Weight is an issue, with tiredness and back problems...
Wowsers! That's ingenious.
Very cool. Creative thinking, I subbed your channel.
Chuck

Where do you get your plastic from
Cool !!
I would mount that tire on a rim and the 3 point of the tractor and drive down the row.
thank you .

Hi, how are you ? Please can explain to me why you use plastics in your plantations

Os galos de lá falam o mesmo idioma daqui do Brasil???
I guess one problem is that the cut piece of the paper may hinder the roots if not carefully transplanted..

To prevent weeds from growing and competing with the crop.

Зачем он портит асфальт?
Seems very slow to me. Rather carry a pipe and a simple measuring jig and push it through the plastic manually. 10 out of 10 for effort though.
