I watched this movie recently, Yibo was brilliant in his portrayal of Mr Ye , the whole film cast was outstanding! I really enjoyed this film but it was also very sad because of its context in history. Well done Yibo for your outstanding part in it.
Superb movie, and Yibo’s performance is simply astounding, very much deserving the Golden Rooster nomination. Personally, I thought he should have won that. But no matter, we move on. Dear admin , thank you very very much for this. Yibo’s acting drew me in the very first moment. The whole experience of watching Hidden Blade following Mr. Ye, the emotions are high and complex. The stories isn’t so remote. These were the stories and people the elders told us what they went through. Yibo brought the stories to live. Yibo was born to play these kinds of roles! I've watched all his movies and series, but Hidden Blade and War of Faith are masterpieces. It was like time travel for me, the way Yibo and all the actors brought a piece of history to life. My grandfather also fought in WWII, and I remember the stories he used to tell us. Maybe it's just me, but I feel moved by the bravery of the people who died for our future. I wish Yibo all the happiness in the world. He is truly an inspiration for every person out there who has a hard time pursuing their dreams. I can't express how much I admire this man. Thank you, sir! ❤
I feel that In this movie, Yibo was much better than Tony Leung (my opinion only), he showed much more emotions, each one better than the other, emotions that made my heart beat faster just by looking into his eyes! I also feel that HB is by far the best of Yibo's movies so far!
@@vanngo2870 Agreed. Mr Ye is the most complicated and unpredictable one as well as the one who bears most in the film. Yi-Bo performance really kills. It's a pure joy to watch him again again and again. Even the way Mr Ye walks is so elegant and beautiful.
