So pretty, it's like taking a class without paying a high price. Thank you very much for helping us learn so much. Love to you and peanut, and God bless you both and the work you do for the people who call in for help. 💖💖💖🙋♀️ I will pray for Mary, you don't need to know someone to pray, God knows them and what they need. 💖
I loved your dispatch story. I started dispatching when I was 19 years old and thirty years later retired. This story brought back so many memories. I look forward to each and every one of your videos.
Hi Kelly! I really enjoyed your story of learning to be a dispatcher in your town. My Mom raised us the same way. My Mom had friends that were critical of raising us to be so independent and with ability to take care of ourselves. My Moms biggest critic several years later had her sons all still living at home and she was still doing their laundry and cooking for them etc. I always hear people saying they want their kids to stay kids as long as possible. I think the same way my Mom did. By doing that, you enable your kids to never become responsible and end up being 40 year old teenagers. My Mom instilled in me that I was capable, smart and talented to live my best life. I am forever grateful for her and what she taught me. This is such a beautiful card, Kelly. You have shown me a new way to look at my stamps and I so appreciate that! Have a wonderful weekend! My prayers are with you and your friend today. ~ Katz Baugh p.s. I do watch TH-cam on my husbands iPad.
Absolutly beautiful, you amaze me. I watched this 3 times, and relize I CAN DO THIS! I have the stamps to work with, not identical, but you pushed my dead brain into another orbit 🚀☄️💫. So while I'm working on a really intense and beautiful card for my granddaughters first bday in 3 weeks, and building more market storage units, swatching my mess of markers and figuring out which blend with others of different brands (oh hell, that's making my head explode 🤬🤯🙄) but I want her card to be incredible (and much better than the other gramma store bought thing, just because she stole my gramma name, and I can be a beatch when I'm spiteful 🤪). And going to Atlantic city this weekend for my birthday, then moving in with my grandbaby peanut love of my life for 3 weeks just the two of us 💞💖while my daughter goes to Bali for her honeymoon. I really don't have time to try this, but I Have to now, it's simply stunning. Not sure who I'm giving it to, but not the other name stealing grams 😝. Thank you again for letting me into your brilliant mind! You are incredible girl! Hugs, Debbie
That wreath came out awesome, Kelly! I love how you filled it out with the other stamps, and it still looks cohesive, like it's all one stamp. Amazing! I've done wreaths "from scratch," with maybe just a circle outline as a guide. It ain't easy, though! :P Using a wreath stamp as a base looks so much easier. Thank you so much for sharing this, & I'm sure your friend will like & appreciate it. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)
Listening to your story brings back so many memories. I was a Dispatcher for a long time, moved from that to CSI. Totally related to working alone! Friday Saturday nights. OMG and even responsible for watching the cameras in the Cell area...Beautiful Card BTW!
Thanks so much for this card. I bought my first alcohol ink markers, amusingly Altenew Artist Markers, this year so I'm very new to this dark art. Having a surprisingly good time with alcohol colouring and I'm not sure if I really understand half of your terms. Your video is very informative and I'm going to give some of your tips ago. Thank you again. Cheers Lisa
Of all the cards I have seen you do over the years this has to be my favorite! I can’t believe the finished product. Your imagination when it comes to stamps is admirable.
Perfect card for the occasion. It is “my kinda card”. Soft, subtle and beautiful sentiment. Love it! So glad you hung in there with Mary for your training. I am sure you make an amazing dispatcher and you are right... you definitely learn better when you have to do it for yourself - applies to card making too... just keep at it.
I really enjoy your cards and chats! I am a full time dispatcher and was a police officer for 10 years, looking forward to retirement so I can craft more in my craft room! This sympathy card is beautiful!
You are too precious !! I always watch your videos but do not comment on them as much as I would like. Just know I really enjoy you and love what you create. Thank you always. Mary

Hey Kelly! I love how the card turned out...really beautiful. Please tell your friend I’m sorry for her loss. I’m sure she will treasure this card. Just as you have treasured what she she taught you. Btw...I have always loved when you do the blue outline...makes the floral cards look lovely! I seriously love the drop shadow...but it’s still a working progress for me! But I’m not giving up! Thanks for sharing your card and I really enjoyed hearing about your work. 🦋
Hello Kelly, this is a phenomenal card, the masking & coloring is amazing!!! My deepest condolences to Mary. Thanks, as always, for sharing your time & creativity, HUGS!!!
Gorgeous card, I always love to watch you colouring, doesn't matter what you use, Copics, Watercolour or other things it's always gorgeous. Thank you Kelly.
OMGOSH! I totally remember dispatch training! CAD didn’t exist! It was all handwritten and I was IT for 4 agencies including police, fire and ambulance as well as relay for State Police and County! OY WHAT A RUSH! Praying for Mary ! Beautiful card
This is a really nice card and I am sure Mary will really appreciate it a lot. Great job on the masking and thanks for explaining light source! I really do need the reminder and this card is lovely!
Great card! I started dispatching in 1974. We had a one man dispatch center until I left in 2000. 4 full timers and 1 pt timer. We had trained a dispatcher and he was on his own and his wife who was also in training came in to watch him. They got into a domestic and both walked out leaving the dispatch center unmanned. Chief called me to come in on my day off! Needless to say neither kept their jobs and we never tried to hire a husband/wife combo again. Funny to look back on but wasn’t funny then!!!
Thank you so much. I went back on Amazon and found more of the pens this time. Last time they only had 1 option. The only 5 pack I found was the multicolor pack. I did find a 2 pk that has the nib size I want.
Beautiful sympathy😌 card Kelly. Im sure your friend will find comfort in it . I see so many possibilities for it, IG could be a mother's day, or birthday card, easter card , a hello summer card etc with a change of sentiment.
A handmade card for these types of occasions are always more appreciated. The recipient is knows the time involved making the card equals how much you care. Kelly, May 1st is the beginning of Ehlers-Danlos Awareness month, and I was wondering if you could work in some kind of design this month? The zebra is our mascot. I have been clinically dx'd with vascular EDS, which is the worst type to have. EDS is a connective tissue disorder, which is genetic, causing your body to make faulty collagen. Collagen, is basically the glue that holds our bodies together. Currently there are 13 types of EDS. In 12 types, they've isolated the gene so diagnoses can be made. Only type 3, or hypermobility type, can't be tested genetically as they have yet to isolate a gene. Just this week, one of our friends, 23 year old TH-camr, Chronically Jaquie, passed away due to complications relating to EDS. She had type 3.
Beautiful card as always. I liked your comments on how helicopter parenting robs children of the confidence to be able to do things for themself. I have certainly seen this even in young adults afraid to go out in the world.
So pretty, it's like taking a class without paying a high price.
