@@sofjanmustopoh7232 Tug boat, tow boat and barge pusher need maneuver in narrow space, but this propeller suitable for dynamic position, SOV in this case
Yeah, this is a joke. This is a guess attempt at something that could have worked. Except that, we can already adjust a water jet in any direction that we want to. Why would we use this ever.
I agree. It looks really good until you try to put it to practice. And then you're just using a whole bunch of diesel fuel to get a little bit of push in. Exactly direction. You want exactly when you want it? I preferred the old weibo wobbles from walgrafs. 4 jet engines and you just feed the particular engine. You need to move your tugbobber exactly where you want it. It appears to me that this just simply does not have the push to get the job done. It is too slow and it is gutless. If you got stuck out in a storm in the ocean, you would literally be given to nature. Especially if you ended up running into your own rope.
this is propeller for next modern ship generation, especially wind offshore vessel
Not this is for tug boat , tow boat and barge pusher .

Is the Best solution for dynamic position? I don't think so.
What is your best solution you talk about?

i think it have short life, and lower efficiency.azipod better than this style
It has a very long life.
@@francovance1 if it meet the other things in water, it will be short life
@@GearTiger007It's normally well protected underneath and at the side, just not show here
@@francovance1 that will be well, just why not use thrust side propellor ? i think that is more easy and efficience
This is not going to work

Already being used on river tugs with great success.
