Spencer Alger Someone who is good at traditional and puts in the time to learn good technique can be very clean on traditional, like anything.... Practice! And yes matched is easier but you can't do as many fun things (stick tricks, etc.) As with traditional... All preference of your instructor I guess.
amazing uniforms
They normally have 3 tenors and 6 snares! Not sure what they were trying to do but i would've just stuck to the original formation.
no cyms :(
8 snares but only 2 tenors?? Wth
Five snares, three of them have the guts removed. I think.
Yeah
Nathan Winters My school does the same thing. They use quad heads on the snares while also taking out the bottom head.
Flub line
They are dirty!! I just hope they aren't considered a world drumline.
Houston Potts they are, the website that the show is listed on calls it a world group
They're world class. They just don't place very high. Which I find surprising given their marching bands history.
Why matched grip?? Irritates me.
BrandonFM why traditional grip?
Michael Yarbrough It looks better. Traditional grip just looks novice to me. My opinion.
BrandonFM Matched is easier to clean

Matched gets better sound (unless the drums are tilted
