    Oh this is a new video, cool. Bought GD a week ago and was watching a lot of your older stuff. Keep up the good stuff!
    Was taking a look at steam charts and this game has at least a 5k players avg for years now, just love to see it for such a masterpiece.

    Problem with converting devotion skills to your damage type is that you have to take points in that constilation, but those points will likely boost the former damage type and not yours

    How does Elemental damage get calculated? if my spell does 20 elemental damage and i have +100% fire damage/+50% cold damage/0% lightning, what happens?

      For the easier explanation let's say that you have 21 elemental damage, that is 7 fire 7 cold and 7 lightning. Then your multipliers will multiply their damage type accordingly.

      @@Malagant interesting, does it work the same way the other way around; if I'm doing fire damage and I take elemental % from quill or scholars light do I only get 1/3 of the benefit?

      @@Dhakhar No elemental damage % is for all fire / cold and light. So you would get the entire % multiplier for your Fire damage

    So for end end game.. if im stacking pure lighting caster one element stacked to the moon.. and I gimping my self by not having some other element ? Or if I am using one element to make sure to have a breach or debuff to that element to break enemy resistance to it? Or what?

    What if you have two competing conversions? Say 100% cold to vitality on one item and 100% cold to fire on another? Which one converts first, or does the game split it between them? (I know this would be a dumb build, but I still want to understand the mechanics.)

      It would convert proportionally, so 50 /50.

      @@Malagant what about funneling 2 or more conversion types on wearable items that you want to funnel to other item-based proc skills? let's say I have 2 items I'm wearing that (helm) convert Phys to Fire and (belt) converts Acid to Fire and my proc item (boots) is an AOE Fire based blast ability. Let's say I'm dual-wielding Phys/Acid scepters with flat Phys/Acid stats on it. Do these "funneled conversions" on other items I'm wearing actually increase the item proc stats or are they always firm for that item and proc ability only?

    Hey dude!! I’m trying to build a Ravenous Earth Opressor! Do I just have to scale Acid/poison on gear for the damage of RE to turn from vitality to acid?? I really don’t under this!

    You lost me at the constellations. Say my items convert 100% aether into physical. If I understand it correctly a flat aether damage boost number from the constellation would get converted to physical damage but the second % boost to aether damage would get lost since my weapon does physical damage now which needs a % physical boost.

    Hello Mala) Really like your videos in explaining game mechanics - really helps a lot! As for the question remaining - just to be sure - I kinda want to use Namadea's horns helm, fully converting fire into cold to Vindictive flame. So, after I equip this and activate VF, I'll need cold multiplayers to support it, not fire anymore? What about mastery fire multiplayers (coming from flame touched f.e.), will they convert into cold too?

      No you would need a buff that would increased cold or elemental

    So if am using cadence and I convert it to fire does it also affect the other key nodes any? Deadly momentum adds some flat physical to cadence. Is that also converted? Are the % scales on fighting form also changed to scale fire instead of physical?

      If you are globally converting, yes not only cadence but also other abilities are converting. If you are converting within cadence as a skill modifier, then only cadence will be converted.
      % scales in fighting form and deadly momentum would still calculate because that happens within the skill calculation before the conversion.
