The ONLY way their model would work is if you can earn the premium currency in game just like Warframe, otherwise the game will die out very fast
You dont have to get optional cosmetics, just play free withbase skins.
@@brasshound4442 that’s not the issue, the issue is the game will have crafting times, build materials that will most likely be very rare that you can spend money to buy, mods for creating builds that will only be available late game, it will put people off

Can you earn Caliber in game or by trading though? That's the difference with Warframe. Even their premium currency is available by trading and playing the market.
I doubt they will be that generous. They tried to play dumb about not knowing players wouldn't like to gamble for paint, materials and colors to then paint individual piece one by one. Not the same color though. Only the colors your rolled. So if you used that one color, time to gamble again and hope to get it again.
They are so out of touch.
@TheChrisLouis I think they are just aware of the landscape of gaming. They're not doing anything different than hundreds of other games, or every single gacha game ever made. Sure it's a different skin, but people will buy the stuff, provided they enjoy the game. I'll spend plenty on this unless it sucks but the beta was cool so I'm not super worried
Ye this game and warframe were just made in different eras, this game should be very consistent with today's monetization $20 skins, battlepasses rotating stores etc probably

It like Warframe you dont need to spend it and if you like the game and love a character only spend for him.
In warframe you're able to farm materials for regular and prime warframes. Are decendants going to be farmable also?
Yes you will be able to farm all materials, even ones used for ultimate descendants
If u smart u grind the game out which it keeps u busy for hours then just paying for everything and being bored.

Its not a zoom lol. It's a shape of a sphere like the "world" it's more of a screen shaping into a sphere. So when he says" what's up world" the screen then shapes like the world lol. Pretty cool imo

As a starter player I will only be getting the battlepass and premium starter pack since its cheaper than paying for a brand new game which is £50 + nowdays.
This is exactly my plan. I'm not a fan of Pay to skip, I prefer to play the game but the company does deserve some money for providing the game and $25 for pass + starter seems fair
I'm all about play for rewards. So a basic pass and slowly earning everything is fine. I want to earn Freya, she looks great.

Seeing all those oh so lovely micro transactions minced my interest in this game lmao. We’ll see how they handle it all, but I probably won’t be sticking with this one.
It's every MMO now unfortunately. Even WoW allows you to directly buy gold which in turn can be used to buy BOE gear that's nearly maxed.
It's the sad reality. But hoping there is a limit to it overall. Lost Ark had the same issues but it was possible to keep up with a paid user somewhat. Whereas a game like TOF it was actually impossible to catch up to a p2w player.
So I'm hoping they lean more into Lost Ark style. P2W is at this point 1 and 1 with MMO's/Looter shooters; IE Warframe and I believe destiny now allows you to buy gear directly or at least roll for it.
It does suck overall, but I enjoy grindy games; and unfortunately nearly 100% of them are p2w these days. In fact the only game I can think of that has limited stuff is New World. And that game is far gone.

I think it's worth the time investment for its enjoyment. It does suck that most of the MMO franchise is p2w now, but its unfortunately hard to escape it at this point :/
Also Once Human dropping on July 9th is another MMO. It will have a somewhat similar MTX structure tho but RNG/Gacha instead. Again impossible to escape it in modern era. Another big one but big focus on PVP instead!

Sounds kind of stupid to have ultimate characters with better stats. It does make the normal ones obsolete at launch somehow.

Yea, it's ludicrous. Energy Activators can be crafted, but the rarest part has a 1% chance to drop from an amorphous material (the equivalent of a warframe relic), and unlike warframe relics it can only be boosted to 2%.
If true, my hype died a lot. Reactors and catalysts are also given away. Do you have to pay for weapon and descendent slots like weapon and warfrane slots?

It's a mistake to make so much stuff buyable. There is no competition to get stuff first since payers will have everything as soon as they login.

Same like warframe, u can grind monts or u just buy primal char and resources and pay to people for help or just buy everything from others , and nobody cry , why u cry now ?
Because warframe has trading so you grind and engage with the shifting economy. This doesnt so its not the same really, warframe gives you the ability to instantly trade for what you want
imagine paying $100 for some primed version of a character. legit bonkers, i can get it for free in warframe by grinding or buy 15 regal aya for $30 and get 1200 plat and pretty much buy the two primed frames and their weapons and armor
@@sm4sher45 unless you're getting extra cosmetics and stuff for the $100, yeah it ain't worth it. Even in Warframe, $100 prime access packs come with premium in game, unique ephemeras, armor, etc.
But you have to deal with playing Warframe though

@sm4sher45 it's actually better than Warframe and ESO. Both I've played for 10 years. In Warframe I paid $100 total after 600 hours of play. When you can get that amount of play time on a zero purchased game and I'm still enjoying it, I want to give them my money.

People crying over the prices and Warframe sells the prime frame (prime access) in $80 and the cosmetics in $60 the bundle is higher, destiny is "free to play" and charge people the entire expansion and don't forget the remove zones for putting shit in the game, then they bring back that specific zone and charge people AGAIN for something in theory they have already pay for. honestly the devs of the game are doing things right with micro transactions feels like warframe just $20 cheaper for a prime/ultimate character.

Mainly due where this game was made. The majority of the world doesn't have the identity issues the west have. Men are men and women are women and each have a role to play in a traditional relationship. Only in the west and western influenced nations do you have woke issues.

The game is entirely p2w, not just the battle pass. People also praised helldivers BP which is p2w as well. It’s the unfortunate reality we live in today; and nearly impossible to avoid when it comes MMOs/looter shooters

All this crying about p2w and cash shop is hilarious. Most gamers will go spend $6 on a cup of coffee and $40 a month on subscription they don't even use, oh but a $10 starter packs or skins sold for real money are somehow awful and will cause the game to "die out very fast." Idk, might be a hot take but crying p2w in a coop game is wild to me, there is no pvp so what are they paying to win at? If somebody wants to whale out or grind it out in a no pvp game is their choice you ain't losing either way 😂
The game is all about grinding. Everything depends on how much grinding it has and if it will feel like it goes over a threshold of grinding being a pain and basically making it feel like they forced excessive grinding for forcing to pay
Man i wanted to like this game but everything about this game screams super mid, grindy, overpriced, cheap knock off game with no true identity.
I tried the beta and it's a good 2nd choice, it's a pretty good copy of like division and warframe but if u don't like them both or want smth else then this is a good choice

The information is coming from data mining of the game .
The only thing I have heard different is the cost per character is WAY WAY higher like 25 ..
But it's also just talk at this point until it drops no one know for 100% what the cost will be
