    Jesus told Christians to pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. God's Kingdom is a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ as King. Isaiah 9:6,7; Matthew 5:3; Luke 1:31-33. Soon Jesus as King of kings will bring beautiful changes to the earth. There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5. No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 37:9-11; John 3:16. Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth including raising those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,28. The righteous hearted meek ones will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:29; Matthew 5:5; Proverbs 2:21,22. The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 55:11. There will only be one government over the entire earth, God's Kingdom government, Daniel 2:44. In order to receive everlasting life and the blessings that God has promised, we must worship the Father with spirit and truth, John 4:22-24; John 17:3; Isaiah 42:8. Soon Jesus as King of kings will bring about God's will on earth as it is in heaven, Matthew 6:10. Hallelujah! Do you believe God's Word?

    What is the “kingdom of God” ? And how do one seek it ?
    Seeking Kingdom of God = Making a choice that is Heaven-centric while on earth (WWJD)
    Put God 1sf wrt ur finances , thinking, time and desires..

    I am just asking how this fits with what happened with Job?

    • @winonagrubbs3707
      @winonagrubbs3707 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the very first couple of verses in Job tells us why all this happended to him..Job's FEAR came upon him..what he greatly feared came upon him..this is the reason the Word says "fear not" throughout the bible. Jesus said over and over again "Fear not"

    Good message overall! The only thing I disagree with is when he says God isn't in control of everything. He absolutely is. Just because God allows good and evil to happen on Earth doesn't mean He is not in control. He is orchestrating everything on Earth to fulfill His Word. He is always in control. He is God.

      Arielle-Cherie Paterson I get what he mean, God is not in control of the Evil things , our evil thoughts and deeds

      God doesn't cause people to do bad things. He is also not in control of weather. Adam gave Satan authority in earth. So the devil has the right to rule this world. God is sovereign meaning He is the Supreme being. God is a good God, and will not cause harm to the people He created.

    • @arielle-cheriepaterson3317
      @arielle-cheriepaterson3317 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      God is in control of the weather. There are numerous examples in the Bible. Also, the whole point of Jesus being the atonement lamb is to take away all authority from the devil. This is why believers have authority over all spirits (through the name of Jesus). Believers are no longer under satan's power or control, though the children of darkness still are.

      1) If He was in control of everything then we would not need to pray. 2) God would have changed his will IF there had been ten righteous in Sodom 3) "I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one." He was not in total control there--He would rather NOT have destroyed the land. IT BOILS DOWN TO THIS: Psalm 115:16 He gave dominion of the earth over to man and does not take it back from man. We either co-labor with Christ, or God's will will not happen in the earth. It is the will of God that all would come to repentance, etc.

      I have to disagree with you on 1) Your weather opinion and 2) Comment on believers having authority etc. God has issued an executive order (I forget the legal term) that believers are to destroy the works of the devil, BUT it is up to the believers to execute that order if the devil isn't complying. ALSO if believers are ignorant of the devil's devices they can easily come under his sway. WEATHER: The thief is the destroyer; God is not . God does not say, "New Orleans, you are so sinful that I am going to flood and destroy you." Christians have, on occasion, taken authority over the weather and commanded it to cease and desist. You may see in the O.T. where God caused drought, etc. because of sin, BUT this was because under the old covenant all sin was punished. Under the cross, He is not imputing sin to the world; He's no longer angry with sin etc. because ALL His anger was poured out on Christ, so sin will not be imputed UNTIL JUDGEMENT DAY or until someone decides to believe and have their sins judged by the cross.
