    The student needs to develop his or her own individual learning system adapted to your daily routine, area of activity, rhythm of life, interests, etc. First of all, you need to understand what problems are preventing you from learning a foreign language effectively. There is a lot of good material for learning a language on the Internet, but many people don't know how to use it as effectively as possible. However, the practice of Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language" will help you structure and organize your individual language learning process, allow you to find a method of language learning that will be interesting and unencumbered. Also, subscribe to this channel, because here the author puts very useful videos on learning a language! Thank the author of the channel for the great work in the creation of training videos!

    U.S. the word quen in nice to meet you the same as the word to forget? Is the spelling different? Or is it two different words that are spelled the same, like đường. It would be strange if it’s the same word, because in one place you are talking about getting familiar with someone or being used to something, and in the other about forgetting. But if you have forgotten something, you are not familiar with it.

    • @doanminhhuy6193
      @doanminhhuy6193 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They're two different words with different spelling. "Quen" in nice to meet you is just simply "quen". But "to forget" is "quên".

    • @phamvanthaang
      @phamvanthaang 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, those pronunciations are North of VN (Hanoi), officially Use on the TV and radio. (Different from vs Saigon n South of VN)

    • @compteofficiel4112
      @compteofficiel4112 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@phamvanthaang Are you saying that the Hanoi dialect is "standard" or "official" Vietnamese? I'm just starting out and I'm seeing material talking about Southern as well as Northern...(and I've heard Hue/Da Nang area is also different?)....what would be best to start off with, do you think? And is the difference only in pronunciation, but also vocabulary and maybe even grammar?

    • @nwchrista
      @nwchrista 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@compteofficiel4112 They push that awful, harsh, northern accent constantly. Most Vietnamese speak southern dialect. It's just very difficult to find decent videos showing how to speak it.
      My wife says she'll divorce me if I learn the northern dialect. The Saigon Vietnamese hate it with a passion.

    • @jackneill8233
      @jackneill8233 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nwchrista Not quite right. In Vietnam the numbers of people who speaks nothern and southern dialects are about the same. The situation may be different in the USA where a lot of southern Vietnamese live
      There is no definition what standard or official dialect in Vietnam is but one thing is certain, if someone intends to become a singer in Vietnam she/he must learn the nornthern accent because it is pure and not "distorted" like the southern accent
      The hatred of your wife toward the nothern dialect may have the political reason. Actually Hanoian accent is warm and clear, it sounds pleasant to the ears
