I didnt use my 959 almost 2 months and when i was gonna use it i felt my clutch like water seems like i got the same problem too! Thanks for sharing it
I've ever had same issue as yours, all I have to do is just open the clutch tank cap, squeezed few times and done (unless your clutch seal is leak). Btw thanks for sharing
Just did this a few days ago as well. Almost got stuck in the mountains because my clutch wouldn't disengage, so my V4 would stall at stops, attempt to start and then die. Didn't use a bleeder line, just cracked open the valve and slowly squeezed the lever until fluid started to seep out, then closed.
Very very helpful video. Just had the slave cylinder on my 2019 replaced under warranty. 2 weeks later its happening again. How often do you have to do this? Have you had the master cylinder replaced yet?
I own a v4 2019 and this just happened to me. I had to push my bike for around 1\2 mile to get it home since I couldn't engage any gears at all. I ultimately had to call Ducati and they took the bike in a van to fix this and perform the annual service. My conclusion is that this is ridiculous for bikes >$20k. Knowing that I have to carry the bleeder tool and the wrench everywhere I go really makes me question if I should keep the bike or not (the guy at the service said this issue can return anytime).
I have a 2020 v4s... the other day when I was riding when I would accelerate the engine would rub but I would not accelerate as if the clutch was slipping. What would this be? I bled the clutch slave already. Not the lever where the master cyl. Is tho. New discs already? Has 3k miles
This also happened to me. I end up replacing the cylinder valve because they do have recall but it happened to me again. I end up bleeding my lines myself got the clutch play back & just waiting to see if it happens again.
I'm having this issue but I can't even pump the clutch lever to get more pressure in my master. I have to take the clutch lever off and push on the master cylinder inner pump with a rod until I gained play and even then it doesn't work my clutch is slipping I don't know what to do
My 2012 panigale is losing clutch fluid internally I'm guessing since the level goes down but I can't find the leak. Clutch works fine but I can hear air leaking near the slave. Oh well, at least she's hot!
It's hardly a dud, just a few bugs to work out. At 226 HP and 91 torque and only 415 pounds wet it's the fastest best handling bike on the road, exhilarating to ride, I'm keeping the Ducati and selling my BMW HP4, the Kawasaki, Triumph, and KTM because none of them compare. Enjoy your bike of choice and I'll be enjoying mine.
I believe that is the issue i am having witj my 2019 V4s slowly lost clutch function, now after you do this bleed will it happens again?? Do yoy have to replace the sleve cylinder??
Dealer replaced brake lines under recall warranty. I replaced slave cylinder with Oberon and replaced brake fluid with Motul high temp. Haven't had problem since.

Just wrote Ducati corporate and they have responded. They are replacing my entire clutch pack, slave master cylinders and inner workings.
@Moultrie T , did this solve the issue? Any update for us? Thanks

Same is happening to my Monster 937.

Did you find a solution? Mine is doing the same thing

What about the free play? My gear engages when my clutch lever is released all the way. I have no free play. This is my Ducati. Thank you.
Why do you guys keep buying pretty duds?🤔🤔
