No not at all just be careful of the gas leaking. If you have a full tank the gas will leak out the cap. Some put a plastic bag then the cap when doing this. I just make sure I have a half tank or less
Just bought a used timemaster, hope its a good mower. Damn thing seemed fast thats for sure, like that but may need to loosen cable bc it was almost a little much. How long did it take to get 90 hrs on that hr meter?
I cut about 20 lawns a week and it took me about a season and a half to get to that point. Right now I have 170 on it and it is still running strong besides all the little maintenance you need to do regardless!!!
Nice little how to Tony. I just use the impact gun to take blades on and off, no torque wrench. I put grease on the bolts that hold the blades in maybe once a month or so.
Thanks Shawn appreciate it. yea taking blades off the big mowers you got it for sure impact wrench will be fine on and off but be careful on the timemaster because the spindle bolts will actually shake and cause larger holes then the engine will move around. I seen it happen.
@@chrisdavis811 hey Chris thanks for watching. I use a 5/8 socket to remove and torque the blades back on. I actually did another video that talks about some important tips check that video out here 👉🏼 th-cam.com/video/FRxF1Jbf44o/w-d-xo.html Thanks again 👊🏼💯
It’s a more than the 70ft lbs required that’s for sure. But I don’t crank them to hard. I am releasing another video very soon on another impact I bought. 💪🏼💯
Yes I use a piece of wood also. Very cool glasses. I do like how the handle bars bend like that on the Toro's especially with my little Personal Pace cause it helps a lot. Great video brother.
Really they should never do that. And yes a drill won’t work. Gotta use an impact or just a socket would work. They would only spin putting them back on if anything.
@@jvaldez680 yes a drill doesn’t deliver enough power to get them off. I have tried an impact driver before with an attachment and it wouldn’t budge. You can stick something like wood in there like in the video and use a socket and you should break them loose.
Talll Graaaass! Good video, Brother. Can I borrow your torque wrench? My old school needle type wrench is a pain. I PROMISE I'll send yours back! heh heh heh
😂😂😂 I got that impact wrench at a outlet place we have here fro $60 and the torque wrench was $20 at harbor freight. I am cheap 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching Loooouuuuu.
@@TheLawnFellas Cheap? Nah...FRUGAL!!! It's good to watch our pennies! So many trying to dig into our pockets. We HAVE TO save where we can! I buy used whenever I can as long as the equipment I buy is in decent shape.
Hey, great video. Thanks! I had a question, Did you have to drain the oil to tip the mower back?

@@TheLawnFellas Thanks so much for the information!
@@evanepp sure no problem at all 💪🏼💯
What size socket did you use. Thanks
5/8 socket I believe I used. 💪🏼💯

@@TheLawnFellas good video. Do you remember what size socket it takes?

How much torque did that gun have

Thanks wild Bill. The glasses actually save me about 45 min a day cause they don’t fog up!!
@@TheLawnFellas Your very welcome Tony. I hate glasses that fog up so that is a plus with them glasses buddy.
@@wildbillslawncare5901 yes it’s a timesaver. Trust me. 👍🏼
My blades spin when taking off. Could it be im not using the right wrench im using a drill with extension
Really they should never do that. And yes a drill won’t work. Gotta use an impact or just a socket would work. They would only spin putting them back on if anything.
Im guessing cause not enough power from drill. When i go to try and take them off the whole blade spins

If you find that the tank leaks when you tip it, you can use a small piece of a plastic bag or garage bag under the cap... problem solved. 👍
That’s correct I seen people doing that for sure. Thanks for the tip appreciate it. 👍🏼
What them glasses called and where do you get them brother Tony?
They are Milwaukee glasses with the gasket!! 👊🏼
What size socket.
Sorry K. Jeffrey I thought I said that in the video 1/2 impact and 5/8 socket 👍🏼 do you own a timemaster?
Wish you could do my lawn here in Canada brother 😩. It needs some help
I wish I was able to also 😁. Thank you for checking out my video 👍🏼

Yea I got the impact for a steal and I also bought a impact driver from Home Depot but at the time you got two free batteries 👍🏼
Except you are supposed to STOP when the wrench clicks. Doh!
Ummm I do the second click is it released it has two clicks 👍🏼. Thanks for watching
