Hi love your cup . Just purchased your file it’s in my design space . My question is I can’t ungroup the image. Do I cut like this not sure how I could size it like this ?
I just updated the files for those that may have been having issues separating the images in Design Space. They are all separate files now, emails have been sent to all with an updated link. 🥰
Such a cute design! Great job! And, thank you for including your mess up. It is so nice to see how you fix things and learn from your mistakes, so we can learn from you. Thank you for sharing!
I agree, Summer. Watching these tutorials sometimes makes me feel like a failure because I mess up so much. It's nice to be reminded that we ALL make mistakes! :-)
FINALLY! I found a video that shows me how to do this Thanks so very much for such a very informative video I cant tell you how happy I am to FINALLY get such a great video Thanks
Thank you so much for sharing this cup!! I love how you kept the mistake in & you kept going!! That shows that you are human just like the rest of us!! Great design for a Halloween cup!! Love it!! 💘
Thank you.. I am one of the ones who fell in love with your cup.. Thanks for making a tutorial and keeping the mistakes.. I appreciate you more for that.. I am a New Subscriber! Thanks again!
Love Love this elegant but spooky BooTiful tumbler🦇🌔🎃thank you so much for the tutorial…I went and snagged your tree line digital file & this newbie is going to give it a try👍🏻🤞🏻🎃😊❣️🦄
Great vid! Thanks for the tips . I’m going to give it a try today. I’m expecting I’ll make a few mistakes as I’m new but it’ll be fun to give it a try.
This is the first tutorial I've seen of you. Half way through I hit subscribe. Most fly through. I appreciate the rest of us. That being said, every video I've seen the transfer tape is clear but the one I got from Wal-Mart cricut brand is white. Would you recommend a company ? Thank you.
I love this design and I really appreciate you showing us how to do it. I have a question, how long do you have to let the epoxy cure before you add your first decal? I have gone through multiple cups because my Transfer tape leaves all of the adhesive on the Epoxy.
Thank you for your kind words. I let it cure at least 8 hours, but usually 12 or more as they sit overnight. I would suggest a lighter tack transfer tape. I really like Frisco Craft on Amazon.
@@april-inkmythings5546 you may have to measure your cup as everyone applies epoxy different and the circumference may differ. Just enlarge it a tad and cut off any excess.
@@CNMDesigns I understand the sizing. I am asking if when you applied your tree lines did you off set them... meaning did you space them in between each other to make it look like two different ones?
Great job! I was wondering if you had to seal the chrome vinyl before applying epoxy? I’m working on a tumbler with chrome vinyl butterfly decals and I’m not sure if I should seal it or go directly into epoxy? I would appreciate any feed back. :)
A lot of people seal their vinyl prior to epoxy. You could use Polycrylic for that, or quick coat. They say it helps to prevent the epoxy from repelling from they vinyl. I personally don't do that, nor have I ever. I sometimes do get a bit of it repelling, but I know 95% of the time I'm going to have to do two final coats all together, and the second coat always covers it. Soooo, lol, all that being said I think it can help but is just personal preference. 🥰
When you redid your cup did you strip it all the way down? I just did a cup and when I took the paint off the epoxy was coming off with the paint and so now I don’t know if I have to redo the whole cup start back over because I have blotches of epoxy still on there and some that does not have any on at all
I did not strip it all the way down. After the glitter I put a coat of epoxy on it, let cure and then did the paint stencil. The second layer of stencil peeled the first layer of paint, so I removed all the paint with acetone, sanded the cup down smooth and reapplied the stencils separate. When I removed the paint I didn't remove any epoxy. You may have to sand it down smooth, as long as glitter isn't exposed, or you will send the glitter. Hope this makes sense and helps. ☺️
@@CNMDesigns thanks I think I got it. The day after I watched your video I messed up a tumble so I was able to fix it. Thank you so much for the videos
Sand the tumbler? I would recommend it, but others don't. Totally up to you. I think of it as when I stain or paint wood, or gets my nails done. A good prep is always best.
@@CNMDesigns ok! I wanted to buy your file but I had to improvise & design my own. Was extremely surprised I was able to do it! I ombred last night & today I'm doing the tree lines. Very nervous & excited. Your video gave me the courage to even try. Thank you. I'll head over to Etsy when I have time. ❤️

Hi Michelle, I am not familiar with Design Space. Is there an option to "Release Compound Path" If not I can email you the separate image(s)

Oooo I'd love to see it if you make one. 🖤🖤 Thank you for watching. 🤗
You said you used something called ‘Poly Acrylic’ to seal the glitter. What is that please (I’m in Australia)? Thanks ☺️

Gotta learn somehow right? 🤣🤦🏻♀️
Just discovered your channel new subscriber here 😉🙌❤
Hello! And welcome ❤️
Wow!! That’s so awesome!! After the finishing of it do you buff it to give it a better shine?
Thank you. No I don't. The final coats of epoxy over the decals is all that's needed. The resin itself creates a beautiful, shiny glass like finish.
@@CNMDesigns awesome. Thank you so much for reply.

Hi...love your cup and tutorial. New to your channel and website. 😊. Is the design for the two different tree lines?
You would just use / cut two of the tree lines.
@@CNMDesigns thank you for your response. Did you just off set them or did you make smaller?

These particular ones have sold. I could recreate one for you if interested.

Love this idea. I noticed when u cut the trees, one set was smaller than the other. Is there a reason for this?
No I just measured wrong 🤦🏻♀️

Could have just layered vinyl trees and not spray painted it.
You could have, but you'd see the seams and you would still have to epoxy over the white layer as to not see the lines where you layered the black.
Love it. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for tuning in 🤗
