    Well done Bob, I always enjoy all of your videos and the detail you put into it making it simple for everyone to understand, I am not much of a Tamiya fan or 1/14 scale but I do watch all of them and find them to be very enjoyable! I am more of a 1/10 scale guy but lately I have entered the world of 1/14 Hydraulic equipment, I have the DRX2 dozer, LESU carter 374 excavator and the LESU roll on/off dump truck. The detail that they put into them is amazing !!! Keep up with all the awesome videos because I am a fan!

    That is a BEAST of an Excavator!! 😲
    I'm so very impressed with the Beier Module. Of course you could barely get into its features on this... One Channel Lights and Simple Sounds.
    However, after reading the Manual, it's so cool how many things this can do - and I keep the precise Motor and Brake control of my Hobbywing WP1080 ESC!!!
    Now I'm anxious for you to do a complete Setup Video on this - on a Rig. Hopefully I'll be at the point in my Grand Hauler build where I'm really to start the Wiring SPAGHETTI!!! 😜 Just in time for a Tutorial Video. 😉

      The grand haulers are cool rigs for on road but honestly the hg trailer and either the hg 802 to pull it or the hg 602 creation of mine to pull it around. The hg trailer fits the 870k perfectly as you can see in my videos. the 360L will work as well. When pulling off road the king hauler can't hold a flame up against a awd 6x6 or 8x8 diff locked beast. Even my 6x6 overland Ive set up for pulling options for big equipment. I had a few Gand haulers etc in past sold them off due to the power I can get out the the other models. Even cross Rc rigs

    This thing looks like a lot of fun. Unrelated but do you use and would you consider adding the lesu or other brand custom parts to the tamiya trucks. There’s a lot of cool looking stuff out there to add realism. The tamiya trucks are far to expensive for me to get into so I have to get my fix through TH-cam channels like yours

    interesting about the ibus plug on the receiver. I wonder if the SMB can get sounds through there and not require the use of 2 open channels. I'll have to research that if it is a possibility.

    Super video Bob and full of tips. Using that Beier unit do you still have to use a Resistor at each led? or does the Beier take care of that?

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Beier puts whatever power that goes into the unit out to the led's so you do need a resistor. I used the led's that have a built in resistor that I sell.

    Hello from Australia Bob, I love your videos, they are very informative and have helped me many times.
    I would like to make a suggestion re the sound system. If it can be done, a beeper as the excavator walks, as now days it is standard fittment on all excavators from a small 2 tonner right up to a 550 tonner.
    Also is it possible to have the engine sound change tone as the hydraulics are used, like the engine is loading up when hydraulics are activated.
    Looking forward to seeing your next video.
    Steve.

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure why you would want to run fans through it. It needs no cooling. If your motors or esc's need fans probably best to wire them direct so when you turn on your unit the fans run.

    YOU'VE DONE A SPECTACULAR JOB WITH THE PROGRAMMING FOR THE CONTROLS LET ALONE THE SOUNDS. I WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT OF SOUND VARIATIONS LIKE THE ONE I JUST THOUGHT OF THANKS TO YOUR SHAREING. HOPEFULLY I CAN EXPLAIN THIS UNDERSTANDABLY. (IF THAT'S A WORD). IF YOU SET THE IDLE AT MEDIUM CONSTANTLY, CAN YOU LINK THE ENGINE SOUND TO GO HIGH WHEN EVER YOU USE ANYTHING LIKE THE BUCKET, ARMS, TRACKS, OR ANTHING ELSE THAT WOULD GIVE THE ENGINE A LOAD AND GO BACK TO MEDIUM WHEN GIVING LESS THE LOAD? AWESOME JOB ON THE INFO YOU SHARED! I LIKED AND SUBSCRIBED (SOMETHING I RARELY, IF NOT PRACTICALLY NEVER DO) THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND I MAY BE SETTING ANOTHER BANK ACCOUNT UP TO SAVE AND BUY ONE OF THESE.😃

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  ปีที่แล้ว

      You could link the engine sounds to the movements. For example move the arm and it speeds up but in reality having the switch just makes it easier. The sound on this unit does work very well.

  • @scotabot7826

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC

  • @TheNZSlayer

    Why didn’t you mix the sound module revs with the sticks . And tracks

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because on real excavators they do not work that way. They set the throttle then dig and the throttle stays the same.

    'Beier', in German, is pronounced like 'buyer' - 'Bagger' like 'bugger', even if it's working fine.
    Horrible decision to scew the speaker on that way, in my opinion. Expensive to undo it.
