True, that’s what happened when alcohol was banned in the US and even after prohibition, the Mafia having gained a lot of power did not go broke, they just moved on to different things
But the way this is being done will mean there won’t be a demand for them among people that never had it
@GolemDude sure thing dude, hard drugs like cocaine are have been banned and yet we get young people getting addicted to it every day
We dont need government to do this!!

Me(and many others) would prefer it go underground, I couldnt care less if its still sold/used. the benefit of this law is eventually it will be illegal for anybody to smoke in public. and smoking in public is a nuisance, nobody wants to breathe in your nasty fumes.
@@bruhmoment3306thats why we got public smoking areas. And outside in public, good luck arresting everyone who smokes and doesnt want to poison their kids/spouses/animals inside yet dont have a backyard nor balcony. Or those who live in apartments where its banned to smoke.
I am a smoker trying to quit right now and i honestly think this is the best idea i've ever heard

Electric cigarette boogaloo
I think the UK plans to do this too. Along with France and Switzerland. Good for them.
Thank god, I literally saw KIDS vaping in London.
Whats the logic behind this? Isnt this just going to make it go underground?
New zealands new governemnt scapped the law and are now promoting cigarettes
We couldn't even get morons to wear masks when people were literally dying everyday, this is what makes general elections happen hahaha
The UK thought of this a while back but I'm pretty sure there was too much opposition.

@Morgan Null Yes 🗿
They did worse during covid. The country is going to hell Anyway so not shocking they will do this and much worse things.
@Morgan Null why do you feel the government needs to protect everyone from everything? If they want to kill themselves with cancer, go for it.
@morgannull4685yes the government shouldn’t have control over what you do to your body if I can’t smoke cigarettes because it’s bad for me then they should also ban alcohol,vapes and marijuana because it’s also bad for me also I’m not going to smoke but I don’t want to have the ability to do it taken away
