hands down my favorite player and person. it was a joy to watch him from pawtucket to boston. i went to his first pawsox game and he kept fouling off and that ball cracked a seat where i was sitting and i was wow this little guy can hit. so every time he came up to bat i was keeping my eyes on him.

If u see this Dustin, I have been following you for the longest time. I’ve read your book and I love you as a player and I wear your number hopefully how you would want me to. I used to play baseball and switched to softball. Your a great player

He was always one of my favorite players and motivated me so much as a young ball player! I almost caught his homerum ball in Kauffman stadium

Just to be clear on this...I was there for one of his first games. They listed him as 5;9"... I'm married to a woman who's 4'9"... She towers over him. But,,,,she can't hit a slider,,,,,,curve, fastball, etc,,,,,!

always hated the sox but like some sox fans liked/and or respected jeter, I feel the same about pedroia. everything he said about alshitve turned out to be 100% bullshit. 'proves you don't have to be a big guy to be one of the best'. sure, you just need signals when and when not to swing.
