I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. It really is well received and well respected by people. Both taeyang and Lisa compliments with each other's crafts/ artistry. And always Taeyang although he's in the industry longer, he still has this respect and amusement on his Co-artists. Such a Fine and well grounded man he is. A true legend!

Ringa Linga is the reason why I fell deep in the K-Pop rabbit hole many years ago when Big Bang were the kings of the industry 😍 I'm basically a forever YG stan LOL I just can't get enough of all the artists coming from that company! even if they're gone, like Hanbin (B.I), they just remained in my top favorite tier.

The choreography for the song was done by Bailey Sok, who also did "Vibe." And she directed the music video for "Shoong".
You know whats insane, she's not even 20 yet and she's already thriving in her chosen career... She already had a signature on her choreography - the musicality, the detail and the nuances, when the chorus hits you definitely know it's Bailey... This makes me feel old, lol!!!
You're actually correct, Lisa mentioned in an interview for this song that this is really big for her as she says featuring in her idol's song and she's truly grateful for this great opportunity. I believe that clip is from the Making of this MV. 😊🖤
Taeyang's backup dancers in the shoong music video are not just YGX dancers, they are dancers who participated in Street Man Fighter. YGX- Lee jung, Kwoon twins & hyunse, WayB- Noze, Mbitious- wootae, JustJerk- youngj & jho.
I love this collab so much. Both fandoms have been so respectful with the both of them probably because Taeyang has been very honest with how much he admires Lisa's talent and Lisa being also very vocal about her excitement for the collab because she has admired taeyang since she was very young. Plus, the energy is so well distributed and it's a great song overall

Love how you pointed out that Taeyang came back with music far too different from the trend or what is usual for 4th gen now. From the moment they debuted until now, BIGBANG has always been dubbed as "Rebels of Kpop" for you never see them succumb to whatever is "trendy" during this and that era. They always stick to their own brand without succumbing to what people deemed as the "norm". They make music for themselves first, create music that they truly like, release it to the public and the public ends up loving it. They never really release songs just to simply "sell" it. It's always been that way and I don't think it'll change anytime soon 😊

I do prefer much more “vibey” dancing compared to the very structured and synchronized/choreo heavy dances very present in K-pop. However, I also understand that it’s hard to be more individualistic in groups (especially larger groups) versus solos/duo work when the synchronization helps with the overall appeal of a dance choreo at times.
What I love most about Shoong is the duo work with Lisa and Taeyang. They both have their individual energy that compliments each other so well and they’re both AMAZING dancers. Their talent and passion elevates each other’s performance, which is why it works so well. Their dancing chemistry is 🔥🔥

Love it when you point out Taeyang enjoys staying true to himself rather than conforming to the trends. I thought it was quite obvious but I’ve seen most ppl were like “nah not dynamic not what I expected booo” when Shoong! came out as an RnB and a ballad - Seed - was chosen to be the title song. The dance practice actually reminded me how good Taeyang is as dancer. The musicality of the guy is so amazing! That control is beyond. Lisa was also good too and really proved why she's the best female dancer in her industry. She knows when to provide the right expressions as well. :) Props to Bailey Sok for bringing out the best in them.

Dear Jeff, the Shooing Performance is like a reunion of Street Man Fighter and Street Woman Fighter, they have whole YGX (man and woman) + Just Jerk + Noze. They also release the reaction and mini talk about their own performance on this song, they're so much interesting. I love these two song of this TAEYANG's album so much.
Taeyang is an pioneer in using backup dancers and bring in high quality choreo to the industry since his first solo album in 2009. The dance crews gained a lot of terrain in the kpop industry thanks to him and this is not what i'm talking about but the dancers here, YGX, Noze and the guys from Just Jerk crew.
Taeyang is my favorite main vocalist till now, his voice is amazing. He's a legend. Big Bang is legend❤🎉

Taeyang's trained in this type of dance in the early part of his career. His first and 2nd album had a lot of dance like this, andddd this is why I fell into the kpop darkhole and never left lol. Taeyang is the my first ever bias.

Finally!! I have been waiting for your Taeyang reaction though I was expecting only reaction for Shoong. Anyway, fun fact, the dancers in Shoong MV are JustJerk YoungJ and Jho, Mbitious Wootae, WayB Noze, YGX LeeJung, Kwon twins and Hyunse. But in practice vid, leejung seemed to be not there. I think Kwon twins recruited them to participate in MV. They actually also filmed a reaction vid to Shoong MV. YoungJ was such a fanboy, that even if Kwon twins didnt ask him, he will beg to be included. He was so happy Taeyang accidentally hugged him, you should watch even for fun haha. Choreographer is Bailey Sok who is also choreograher of Vibe. The dancers killing part is the seatbelt move and also the move where they had to hit the floor near the end of the song 16:44 Me, i like the 16:30-16:36

The backup dancers are combination of different groups from street woman fighter and street man fighter. YGX, WayB, JustJerk, and Mbitious
Those back up dancers were the Kwon Twins, LeeJung, Noze, and Just Jerk
I think Wootae is also there though he was not in the reaction video they did 😊
