I was finally able to complete world 3 and will be clearing world 4 as soon as a get my fire characters leveled up. The tip I didn't know about was grinding past worlds to unlock more skills in the ability tree.
I noticed that when you go to the stats descriptions it says that "break effect" is the dmg you deal after breaking the shield and not dmg to the shield itself. I thought i was gonna break the shield faster but that's not the case.
Soo at what point do you have to have a main dps or character for every element. Just cleared world 6 , still just using seele to brute force everything. Haven't seen the need for other carries just yet. I don't really see how I will even have resources.
The real endgame is memory of chaos not simulated universe. You will understand the every element concept at that point. There’s 15 levels to get through and then you unlock the upper levels which are much more difficult and require two teams per floor much like genshins spiral abyss
If you have Seele, I HIGHLY recommend getting Silver Wolf on her next banner. I am telling you, it makes a world of difference :) I know it's not the "cheapest" option, but using Seele after I got SW just felt sooooo much better.
Something I don't like about Honkai Star Rail compared to Genshin is how HSR *forces* you to build the characters for the role they were created and nothing else, you can't stray from it. Whereas in Genshin you can, for example, build Mika as a physical DPS and you'll be fine for all the content except maybe Abyss. Of course, you wouldn't be doing as much damage as actual DPS's, you could struggle more, but you can still totally do whatever you want with any character and be just fine. In HSR you can't even give DPS light cones to non DPS characters 'cause the passives won't work; that doesn't happen in Genshin. And on top of that, in Genshin you can build a team or two and clear most of the game's content. In HSR, due to the type weakness, each battle is a totally different situation, so for you to be prepared for most of them you basically need to have at least one character for every role in each type/element and they need to be decently built and that's just so hella expensive. Especially if you're at a high Trailblazer/Equilibrium level. I for example am at Trailblazer level 40, Equilibrium level 2 and I won't ascend until the game forces me to to continue the story. 😂

yeah I had the same confusion initially. It contributes to the damage done after breaking it only.
Did random buffs failed, watched this video and cleared world 6 this is the way. . . The SmackDaddy Way

Thats why silverwolf is sss+, she changes the enemies weakness to your team's element
Yeah u run out but accumulate more. If i take genshin as an example it takes a while to build good characters and eventually u do have a good roster
