You bet, I don't know anyone else who has done comparison to all the biggest brands on the market in the way you did. Appreciate it and wish more people find your channel. See you mate.
There are a lot of variables when considering range capabilities , ambient air temperature, rider weight, tires and air pressure in those tires, riding conditions like weather and surface riding on and even riding style. I would prefer to have more battery than I need. Sam, this channel is a hidden gem and I comment to help the algorithm change that. Really good content✅ High Quality Video & Sound ✅ Quality Editing✅ Quality Presentation✅ Kudos to you and your team for doing such a amazing job!🍻
We riders sometimes dont care about motor, but software interface for the piece pf mind riding out there, clarity on battery display range & modes. You should make a episode of diferent motor how they work on display, app and personal tuning. I only know about specialized & shimano because i owned a turbo levo
I don't know if it's like that with every Bosch system, but with my 85Nm 750wh when it shows 50% of the battery, I can be happy if it's the real 30%. And the battery is good, it has a long range, just recently I rode an xc route of 70 km and 1550 vertical climbs, all on the Trail setting, I weigh 95 kg, the bike weighs 28 kg and 0 km of asphalt. It is obvious that the percentage of the battery rapidly drops below 50%. Whether the measurement is wrong or the battery... I don't know
I run my Spectral ON in boost all the time on every ride, and still have 3 bars left. I have 3 Amish bikes I ride, The E is all about fun! Scratching my dirtbike itch.
I feel like, this range thing was already covered 150 times 3 years ago, maybe 5 years ago by now. I just know there has to be new ground to cover with EMTB's. Maybe low power/light weight vs full power/full weight? Ive only seen that subject covered 110 times. But overall your doing a great job!
The battery display on shimano is so bad & inacurate. With my yeti160e ep8 630wh i could get max 58km off eco and bit of trail/boost mix I have another battery and tried boost at 100% and got only 25km carrying a battery on the back is exhausting. Leave your batt on a spot mid the trip and replace it
What is going on legend riders? I hope you enjoy this range TEST...

Yep the Bosch isn’t as linear as my testing on the Shimano but the range is better per Wh
I love my 900wh battery on my norco
The range is pretty impressive

It all depends on vertical climbing not Km or miles
@@SamsBikes yeap it was a 5h20m trip flats and climbing with muddy roads it was makes you use boost or trail mode.
I bought an OPTI BIKE @SamsBikes I have 190 NM and battery 1630. Now that's awesome. Colorado made bike.love it.
Is this test with the new FW update on the 801 (the one that changes boost and overrun)?
No it wasn’t this test was about a month ago to go with all the other motors
thanks!
@@SamsBikes Does that mean we get an updated video to compare the changes at some point?
