You don’t need packaged Tour if you have the Darshan ticket. You can directly go by own car / private Taxi. Package is required mainly if you don’t get the darshan ticket as getting the ticket you need to book atleast 3 months prior.

Yes, shoes are not allowed in the queue. You can submit those in the counter.. and there will be shades and all the facilities like toilet, drinking water in the entire darshan line..
