    I really wish these videos weren’t made for 4 year olds. Love CR, but this style of video of lame comedy needs to go.

    I love CR, but man these videos are hard to take seriously. It feels like their inspiration is a cross between Bill Nye & Popular Mechanics for Kids.

    Honestly fascinated by your repellent testing, I didn't realize how you actually went about doing it.
    But for the love of God, stop with the corny bits. These video aren't aimed at kids, they're aimed at adults. Please stop.

    This was CRINGE. Is CR for kids now, or are we catering to a dumbing down of society? Even as a kid I'd hate this, Mr. Wizard never acted like a clown. ...And they never gave any info on the products or how long they lasted.

    I've commented elsewhere to the effect that CR is trying WAY too hard to make its videos more entertaining. Bad decision. People who respect CR and have concerns about such issues as how environmentally friendly insect repellents will not be pleased with gimmicky videos. Sober up, CR, and treat your audience with more respect.

    • @BPoweredLove

    DEET IS NOT SAFE. why was no recommendation for a natural repellent recommended with citronella, eucalyptus, rosemary oil, etc? I use one from Whole Foods that has essential oils that is effective. Is CR paid off to say DEET is safe, instead of recommending essential oil based repellents?

    • @jazzharlan8451
      @jazzharlan8451 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Perhaps because they didn't have the chance to test any repellant comprised mostly of essential oils. Besides, it would be somewhat of a risky move because a number of essential oils have the capacity to cause irritation to some individuals. I suspect that when they make a recommendation, they make a recommendation that they think willsuit everyone, no matter their skin type or sensitivity.
      I prefer to use non-toxic products with minimal ingredients too, but depending on the composition of those products it can be difficult for one to find a repellent suitable for them. It took the longest time to find a non-toxic repellant for my father with eczema.

    • @jessicah3450
      @jessicah3450 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why do you think essential oils are safe, just because they are natural?

    • @BPoweredLove
      @BPoweredLove 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jessicah3450 Good point. While I would assume they are compared with chemicals, it's quite possible that my assumption is incorrect.
