when u really look at the IRS 5's it's just to plain of a shoe to be considered a sneaker of the year and in general new color ways shouldn't count as a new sneaker of the year. Its just a new color-way and should be ranked in a separate category like best color-way of the year not sneaker. Cause most of these are sneakers that have been around for 20 years just slapped with different color blocking and people call it a new shoe. If it ain't a new model then it shouldn't count period. Which makes only a few of the shoes that actually released this year able to qualify like. The SB 4's , Nocta glides, CPFM etc those are new models.
