      100% the practical stunt work was surprisingly well done and Schieder always delivers that cool character so it's a great pairing.

    I love that Dudes, Bad Boys and Easy Money made it. American Ninja 2 is my favorite of the series and seemed to be the most 80’s themed. I think you should do a series on 1987 movies, considering there are so many good ones, in my opinion. You could do it by the month it was released and do a 12 part series.

    I wanted to add about Bad Boys. The facility that was used for quite a few shots of the Juvenile Corrections Center is located in St. Charles Illinois and is still up and running in 2024. It still has all the same buildings and the same fenced area where they would run in the mornings. It’s an amazing film and the Clancy Brown pillow/ pop scene is worth the price right there!! Red Scorpion is a Russian version of Rambo, this version of Clash of the Titans was better than the updated version; it reminds me of "the seven voyages of Sinbad", "Dudes" is a good and underrated movie especially having "Jon Cryer" after is performance in "pretty in pink". "Streets of fire" another great movie With the hit single "I can dream about you" and "Easy Money" Rodney Dangerfield shows that he deserves respect in this almost national lampoon's type comedy, and I totally agree with you that "Joe Pesci" supporting role opened the door for him too show what is now a great career of movie roles. "Bad Boys" is another good movie that shows an actors potential (Sean Pen) is well fitted for this role. "Blue thunder" & "American Ninja are your typical American movies with a touch of Hollywood magic. As always Great selection of forgotten gems and will watch a few this week. Excellent job on this series of forgotten movies looking for to the next series....thumbs up and much support to you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating!

    Kickboxer 1989 is worth watching too imo, it's a mix of Rocky IV and The Karate Kid, it has awesome 80's music with a memorable dance and fight scene :) Keep on making these videos, I like to see other peoples perspective 🙌🏻My other pics (if you still haven't mentioned them for I'm still watching the other volumes) are: Death Wish 3, Invasion USA, The Naked Gun. Red Scorpion
    In the movie Nikolai played by Dolph Lundgren is shown lifting a car after thinking of the best way to do it.
    From what the movie shows in the scene it appears that really was done by Dolph which would be a very impressive physical strength feat because a car is over 900 pounds, also it’s in the it’s not a cakewalk task.

      Lundgren liked lifting cars haha he did it in Showdown in Little Tokyo as well. He jumped a movie care in that one too! 😂

    At least You could do ten more parts. Where is: Street Smart (1987), Southern Comfort (1981), Enemy Territory (1987) ?

    Man I haven't seen Tightrope in so long. I bet people flipping through the channels would get it confused as a Dirty Harry sequel which it easily could have been. Now I kind of want to buy it to see it again. Clash of the Titans is still awesome to this day. I always kind of liked the Indiana Jones knockoffs whether it was Alan Quartermane or Firewalker at least they were something different. Blue Thunder kind of seemed like a TV movie then Roy Schnieder kind of elevates the movie itself. Very well done for movie effects at the time. Bad Boys likely would never be made today pretty dark gritty and real. They would butcher it make it transgender or something silly.

    Clash of the Titans is far superior to the soulless 2000s remake for which I had such high hopes.

    • @MoviesNeverSayDie
      @MoviesNeverSayDie  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That remake was instantly forgettable, wasn't it also given a last minute 3-D release to capitalize on the trend at the time as well.

      @@MoviesNeverSayDie OMG I am so sorry. I meant to write I “can’t “ believe it. Dammit I have to slow down. I’ll admit been a few decades since I saw it but I remember his moves as crisp and confident.

      No need to apologize we all have our typos. He was pretty good. Like I mentioned I read Norris was originally intended for this role and Dudikoff beat out a lot of people for the role. So he definitely did the work and learned enough to let Hollywood magic do the rest.

    You could easily do five more episodes and still not cover all of the forgotten gems. But that doesn't mean we wouldn't say no to five more episodes.

      I still have a good amount of movies on my list that didn't get in. But it's like you said, just cause you could do more doesn't mean ya should. I'll probably come back to this series later next year after I've wrapped up some of the other video ideas I have on the back burner.

      I honestly didn't really like the remake of Clash of the Titans. I felt it was too reliant on the 3D trend in cinema at the time and just felt like a generic CGI fantasy flick with no charm of its own.
