    I am reading the manual but was wondering if you could do a short video on auto for video?

    • @RogerAVHansen
      @RogerAVHansen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could, but a quick explanation on auto video is that the camera decides all the settings for you while trying to expose correctly… so you don’t know how the end result is going to be. And if you need to shots to be similar, you have no guarantee to get that while shooting in auto.

    when I live video shoot for this camera- connected to my laptop, it tracks my face and makes it really clear, but how do you track 2 people or more? to make sure all subjects are clear. every time I shoot with another person, one person is usually focused more than the other,.

    • @RogerAVHansen
      @RogerAVHansen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To get two people in focus at the same time they need to be in the same focus level. The lens can’t have two different focus levels at the same time, so if you want two people in focus they need to be at the same distance to the lens. And I wold turn of face/eye AF to make sure the lens doesn’t focus on only one face. Instead I would use zone AF (if I remember the name correctly), the big square. I think that’s the best way to get to people in focus at the same time 😊 Also, having a deeper depth of field (higher f-stop number helps) 😊

      Hi!
      I rarely use EF-M lenses on my M6 mark II, the EF to EF-M adapter stays on the camera most of the time, and the M6 mark II combined with the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 is great!
      I use my M6 mark II in most of my TH-cam videos, the small and lightweight camera together with great picture quality makes it a perfect camera for me and my use.
      I’m not using it that much for photography, but I really should, cause I’ve seen others create wonderful images with this camera.
      I’ve not tried the A6000 series of cameras from Sony, my only experience with Sony is the A7Siii. I’ve not tried the Fujifilm XT30 either, so I can’t compare the M6 mark II to those cameras.
      I think there’s still much good use in the M6 mark II when you use it with the EF to EF-M adapter together with EF and EFS lenses, but not if you think of using it only with EF-M lenses. I don’t see that there is going to be made any more of those lenses in the future, and I also believe Canon is going to release APS-C cameras with RF mount next year.
      You also have the EOS RP if you want to think about lenses and the future, then you can jump on the RF train straight away.
      The M6 mark II is a fantastic camera, I loved it when I bought it and I still love it two years later 😊

      Thanks for the demo fam! Just got the m6 mark ii and your videos have been awesome! God bless you and know that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, has given His life for your sake. Because of His great and deep love for you personally, God Himself became a man to pay for humanity's debt by dying in our place on the cross, and that man is Jesus Christ. God's love cannot and will not go against His own righteousness, so as Judge and Owner of His creation, our debt of sin had to be paid for, but only He could pay it because only He is righteous. And He didnt have to pay for our debt of sin but He chose to for our benefit. Yet we rejoice because our God is alive and well because He ressurected from the cross and conquered death so we could have eternal life, so just as Himself, those who believe will die but we will live again forever more in peace and joy in heaven and recieve His Holy Spirit now. Even though we have a righteous sentence to hell because of our sin, the eternal God has paid for our eternal debt by dying Himself on the cross so we could have eternal life with Him in Heaven if we place our faith in Him (John 17:3). Repent ( turn ) from your sins and turn to Jesus and He will surely forgive you because of His grace alone (Ephesians 2:8-10). Follow Jesus for He is a GREAT Savior, Comforter and Friend in good and bad times. Read the book of John in the Bible to know Him, it is Jesus' life, He is the Word of God in the flesh, He is God Himself in the flesh. And we do not use His unconditional grace and forgiveness as an excuse to sin, even though we are not perfect, but we are to desire to wholly devote ourselves to following Jesus, the One who loves us and forgives us. When I sin I am deeply grieved, I lament and repent, turning back to Him, and He righteously forgives me because He has paid for my sin. We do not serve Him to earn His love, we serve Him because He loved us first (1 John 4:18-19). When He came the first time in the form of man He came as a lamb to be slain in our place, but Jesus is coming back as conquering King, the Lion of Judah 🙏, and every knee will bow and tongue confess Jesus is LORD.
      1 John 1:8-9 KJV - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
      Romans 6:23 KJV - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

      Probably not going to pay for that, but hopefully someone else might find interest in your tip 😊

    Too bad Canon decided to stop producing the M series.

      It really looks like it’s going that way, but in canons defense it’s the better business choice to have one mount for all their cameras. When they put RF mount on their APS-C cameras they are going to sell a lot more of the expensive RF lenses. But the positive side for us users is that we don’t need to buy a lot of new lenses when we change cameras 😊

      @@RogerAVHansen Yes, I totally agree, I talked about it to a friend and I concluded the same. I can't wait until the R7, R8 and R9 come out! It seems these 3 will be aps-c so then more affordable.

      It will be interesting to see what plans Canon has for the APS-C line in the future 😊

    Drop the irritating background music, you're not doing a music video.
