My fix was a little different, I have an EZ mode that comes up so I just grab with my mouse and switch the positions, but I was able to figure it out because of this video. Oh my God.. I was lik😭. You had me at ctrl+alt+del. It wasn't booting at all. I tried a lot to check boot configuration n stuff. And started all over again with your video. All I did was ctrl+alt+del. That booted my system like a dream come true.
Great tutorial but there is somthing you forgot to add sometimes the SATA cables doesn't successfully connect to the hard drive. So if this problem happened to you check the hard disk cables and make sure to press them hard until you hear a "tick" (sometimes there's no sound but make sure to press them hard) and then restart your PC and i hope it works for you.

Ayo thought I'd mention that a cause of this problem for some of you, like it was for me, could be that your hard drive with your OS goes to sleep after awhile. This can be prevented when you get back onto Windows, go to additional power settings in Power&Sleep settings and to change your current plan settings. Then go to advanced power settings. Then open up Hard disk->Turn off hard disk after->type in "never"

I'm sorry to hear it man, that would mean that your SSD/Hard Disk where windows is installed is not booting, you may have lost all files on that hard disk. To be sure, get a clean hard disk and install windows on it, boot with that new hard disk and see if you can access your old hard disk when booted into windows through a different hard disk. If you can than the fault is likely in the Windows files and you may have preserved all other files on it.
I got a problem. I have my OS on an ssd, starts up great no problems. Noticed I'm running out of space so I got a 1tb HDD. Plugged it in, formatted it, restarted my pc and that black screen with writing shows. I go into my bios and my ssd isn't even detected. I remove the HDD and then I can boot up. Something wrong with my HDD?
