Max and Igor, hello dudes! I am your old fan from Uzbekistan. A very cool album and this is where my passion for Sepultura started! In our country, in my childhood, it was very difficult to get records of such bands as Sepultura, and then one day, when I went to a music store, I saw an mp3 disc (naturally pirated) on the counter of the store where all the albums with Max's vocals were recorded, from the first up to Roots, and I set myself the goal of getting this disc by all means! I had some money, which, imagine yourself, I found on the street one early snowy morning, I was walking and suddenly there was a wad of money in front of me, there was not a lot but not a little, and so I got money for the Serultura disc and this was the start of my long fan journey! Max is doing death thrash metal for last 15 years. Every CC album is more brutal than predecessor but people tend to ignore that band. Soulfly is not nu meal band since Dark Days. Pandemonium is on par with everything he has done in Sepultura heyday.
Problem with Troops of Doom and even this 2 releases is the vocals. They both channel their 1992 The Mist or Sepultura incarnations instead of the Linda Blair green puke vocals of the EP and "Morbid Visions". That and the production, still its cool they are doing it. For years they had thrown out that material into the garbage can and in the 2010s they realised again how cool it was for the death and black metal genres (thrash scene for the most part never acknowledged those records... because only 1/3 of it is thrash)
This version of "Antichrist" really shows how important this EP was to the very early days of death metal. To quote Don from Nunslaughter: the first two releases are straight up death metal.
@@calebbean1384 Wrong. Possessed became more thrash in "Beyond the Gates". Compare Metallica, Megadeth, Exodus, Slayer, Sodom, Kreator, Destruction and there's a death metal ocean of difference. Possessed was "The Exorcist" (movie, not the song) and Sepultura was "The Omen" (movie) as far as death metal goes. And by "Morbid Visions" the necro production and de-tuning made the Seps more close to black-metal than Possessed

Killer EP and Album remakes!
Thank you for this Cavalera brothers!!! Come to Québec or Montreal now, will you?! Don't forget us!

Pure Rawness! 🤘🤘🤘
This was actually a really unexpected, but great idea! I always liked Bestial Devastation (much more than Morbid Visions) and I'm glad these songs get this well deserved enhancement. Thank you Max and Igor!
y tambien obrigado a Igor

@@CoolGoolMusic nevermind, by the words "obrigado" and "igor" i understood what you meant to say.
I'm going to edit the original comment. I apologize to Igor! I usually think of Max only because of Soulfly...
Sounds killer! Love it! 🔥💚🔥
