Question. is this what i would use for creating a second forest with its own DC in a virtual environment at home? i have a physical server, dc in its own forest and a second virtual server acting as a second dc. i want to create a virtual second forest/dc with its own subnet. Question: are both network cards connected to a home router?
I have already configured Site to Site VPN on my servers, how can I add NAT into Routing and Remote Access now? I followed your video guide on that configurations. I did not tick NAT while installing and configuring VPN configurations. And now my clients cannot access Internet. Please help
You configured the LAN to be in the same subnet and the WAN, so it won't matter. That is why you got a discovery POPout before you setup NAT. I believe your LAN Subnet needs to be on a network of 10.0.0.0/24
Hello Sir, how can i configure NATING and PP2P on same server? I have two AD sites built as VMs on singlw host machine. I want both my sites to use host internet as well as connect to each other over VPN. It's just a test lab to recreate a production environment with 2 AD sites located at two far away physical locations. You help will be much much appreciated 🙏🏻
If i will use obtain ip address automatically from my client computer, how can the server be configured? Does this need DHCP installation from the server?
Did you ever figure this out bud? , I might have the same problem. I got it to work with an Ubuntu router with dhcp on the router as well but I can’t seem to do the same with server 2019. I’m using vbox btw. I got the dhcp working on server 2019 to serve the internal machines but can’t get internet to those internal vms for some reason
@@boytongo thanks Gabriel, I finally got it to work with one subnet...I got local dhcp configured as well. Now I’m just having trouble getting dhcp for the other subnet. I configured the second scope with proper info but no luck. Almost there

If you would know the virtual network adapter would do you would know what you have to chose. Check what each of them is doing. It is worth it.
