Dream Girl , Bala , Chicchore , URI , Mission Mangal , War , Article 15 , Super 30 , Kesari , Gully Boy , Batla House..Few of the good movies from the year 2019 which I don't think any of these were a remake lol . The only remake which got extremely famous was Kabir Singh and that film I guess opened the path for South directors to try out in Bollywood even Jersey was signed before Kabir Singh released. How do people think Bollywood was doing remakes is still beyond my understanding. Only Salman Khan has done most of the remakes in his career which were massive hit. Many famous movies have been remaked in South too why no one talks about it ? Plus it had movies like Sahoo which was shit af and flopped badly lol.
The problem with Akshay doing a remake is that Akshay doesn't give his 100% to the role, he just want to get done with his movies as soon possible, he doesn't put in efforts to get into the character, he is just flat faced most of the time in movies, it has been so many years that we got to see his acting skills on the table, Shahid Kapoor actually got into the character even if it was remake he actually did justice to the character, so there is that, Akshay i think is a really mediocre actor.
Ending of bollywood doesn't mean that Bollywood movie will not matter now but rather it's mean that after few year Bollywood would never represent India cinema rather those movie will represent India which are great either it's from Bollywood or South industry and for sure bollywood have less good content of movie compared to South movies but it doesn't matter because in end either it's bollywood or south industry it will always represent Indian cinema though the hood thing is that people perception are changing after watching south movie and it's great that now more people know about them otherwise it was only limited ot bollywood so inspite of comparing them let's enjoy the movies because in end it will represent Indian cinema with its great movie like Bahubali (south),Dangal(Bollywood), or either it's trash movie but it will always represent Indian cinema

People don't even consider watching those good and artistic cinema ,all the motivation and dedication goes into vain after doing so bad commerce . Today Bollywood hate is on the peak , movies like jalsa , jhund and gangubai ( which I won't consider great movies ,but they were enough to be praised) . Nonetheless movies like beast still collects more than 150 cr in 1st week . People criticise actors like Varun Dhawan for his bad films ,but where were those people when his used to give strong performances in movies like Badlapur and October ( which badly failed at box office). I agree with ur point but our audience wants masala movies in theater and calm movies on ott, which is not good I think. For eg Sardar Udham would have been flop (probably) if it was released in theaters cuz it was very slow pased, but there are also exceptions like THE KASHMIR FILES which performed great in theaters

Personally I would like to see Bollywood movies over southern Cinemas' movies at any point, given the film is original, reason being the premises and acting, which is heavily dependent upon language. I personally can connect better with a Bollywood premise of a remake than the original southern movie, simply because they have heavy cultural influence.

According to me the main reasons why bollywood is lagging behind is that 1) nepotism : they do not have talented mainstream artists like laterally ananya pandey , sara ali khan , arjun Kapoor, janhvi kapoor , tiger shroff etc etc yes we can not ignore talented actors but unfortunately they do not get enough chances and big budget movies *nepotism rocks* 2) no creativity : most of the A list actors are doing south and others industries remake and makers dont have large vision ( like south pan india films ) And most of the directors are interested in small budgets movies becoz they perform well in small budget ( ex ayushman movies) 3) the main point is content : bollywood movies provide extra wokeism and they are so much western that even western people are not like that ! People from North and Eastern parts of India love watching South Indian movies. I am from Bengal and I have grown up watching many good Hindi dubbed tamil and telugu movies on Sony Max plus I have always been a fan of bollywood movies especially movies of SRK, Aamir, Hrithik and Akshay Kumar. Similarly I have friends in Kerala and Chennai who are obsessed with Bollywood movies. We all love good movies irrespective of language and region. We are after-all Indians. Let's hope Indian cinema conquers and not Bollywood or Tollywood or any "wood". Jai Hind 🇮🇳❤️

Dream Girl , Bala , Chicchore , URI , Mission Mangal , War , Article 15 , Super 30 , Kesari , Gully Boy , Batla House..Few of the good movies from the year 2019 which I don't think any of these were a remake lol . The only remake which got extremely famous was Kabir Singh and that film I guess opened the path for South directors to try out in Bollywood even Jersey was signed before Kabir Singh released. How do people think Bollywood was doing remakes is still beyond my understanding. Only Salman Khan has done most of the remakes in his career which were massive hit. Many famous movies have been remaked in South too why no one talks about it ? Plus it had movies like Sahoo which was shit af and flopped badly lol.

The problem with Akshay doing a remake is that Akshay doesn't give his 100% to the role, he just want to get done with his movies as soon possible, he doesn't put in efforts to get into the character, he is just flat faced most of the time in movies, it has been so many years that we got to see his acting skills on the table, Shahid Kapoor actually got into the character even if it was remake he actually did justice to the character, so there is that, Akshay i think is a really mediocre actor.

People don't even consider watching those good and artistic cinema ,all the motivation and dedication goes into vain after doing so bad commerce . Today Bollywood hate is on the peak , movies like jalsa , jhund and gangubai ( which I won't consider great movies ,but they were enough to be praised) .

I agree with ur point but our audience wants masala movies in theater and calm movies on ott, which is not good I think. For eg Sardar Udham would have been flop (probably) if it was released in theaters cuz it was very slow pased, but there are also exceptions like THE KASHMIR FILES which performed great in theaters

Personally I would like to see Bollywood movies over southern Cinemas' movies at any point, given the film is original, reason being the premises and acting, which is heavily dependent upon language. I personally can connect better with a Bollywood premise of a remake than the original southern movie, simply because they have heavy cultural influence.

According to me the main reasons why bollywood is lagging behind is that
1) nepotism : they do not have talented mainstream artists like laterally ananya pandey , sara ali khan , arjun Kapoor, janhvi kapoor , tiger shroff etc etc yes we can not ignore talented actors but unfortunately they do not get enough chances and big budget movies *nepotism rocks*
2) no creativity : most of the A list actors are doing south and others industries remake and makers dont have large vision ( like south pan india films )
And most of the directors are interested in small budgets movies becoz they perform well in small budget ( ex ayushman movies)
3) the main point is content : bollywood movies provide extra wokeism and they are so much western that even western people are not like that ! The Indian culture is vanished from there movies ! They should make movies that respect our own culture !

I am from Bengal and I have grown up watching many good Hindi dubbed tamil and telugu movies on Sony Max plus I have always been a fan of bollywood movies especially movies of SRK, Aamir, Hrithik and Akshay Kumar. Similarly I have friends in Kerala and Chennai who are obsessed with Bollywood movies. We all love good movies irrespective of language and region. We are after-all Indians.
