I could never do 24 hours without sleeping (I think I’d feel sick) but I want to try 24 in 48. Simple but read 24 hours out of a 48 hour period! More time for sleep and walking my dog but still lots of reading!
i love love love these videos, theyre so relaxing to watch and also they put me in a great mood to read a lot myself?? plus, "undead girl gang" sound so interesting, its going to be released a couple of days before my birthday so i can definitely put it in my wishlist lmao i always draw inspiration from these kind of videos, yours are my favourite to watch, keep up the good work riley!
You did awesome!! So close to 1k pages, that’s a great goal for next time. I’ve never tried to do this either, but I’m a glutton for sleep so I doubt I would get as much reading done. Depends on what else I’ve got going on I guess. I’m SO intrigued by that hippo book so I was glad to hear you found it interesting enough to continue!
Yasssss 24hr readathon!! watching this makes me want to do another one in april after my big college assignments are due and I'M SO PSYCHED. Also i feel ya on the sleep thing - I totally slept for the last 24hr readathon i did ha
That 7am shot was heavenly! This was such a fun video! I must try something like this one day... but I get really weird when I'm tired too and I'm so bad with little sleep... like I feel sick xD I'll have to do it when I'm completely free xD
Hi Riley! Sorry to comment again but this is your latest video and I really want to ask something. Do you still stand by your goodreads review of The Black Witch by Laurie Forest? I think your review is really offensive and wrong. You called a book unacceptable. Books are never unacceptable no matter how controversial the story is. You should not rate a book one star without reading it and trusting a review made by one person. We are all different and react to books in different ways. In that review, the person took out sentences and paragraphs out of context without talking about the actual storyline. You should always read the book yourself before slandering it and urging people not to read it. To me, your review really just made me think you support censorship. The Black Witch is not anymore racist than Harry Potter, To Kill a Mockingbird or anymore sexist than Handmaid's Tale. These are stories about faulty societies and (in this case) fantasy races. You should also think about the difference between reality and fiction and how everyone can decide for themselves how and how much fiction affects them. We are allowed to read and write whatever we want and the author of TBW totally didn't deserve the backlash she got and the book is now even out of print... I'm sorry about this comment but I really want to hear your thoughts. Feel free to delete if you want to but I hope you wont. :(
Your comment was somewhat respectful (at least compared to other ones I've gotten) which is the only reason I am responding. But truthfully I don't even care to talk about that book anymore. It's really not worth my time. Sorry this probably isn't the response you were hoping for.
Well no, no it wasn't. But I get it. I just wanted to say that you can choose not to read a book based on a review written by someone. You can warn others about the content of the book. But you shouldn't rate it one star if you haven't read it yourself and you shouldn't try to stop others from reading it. That's just morally wrong. Each reading experience is unique and we should always read from our own perspective first. I won't bother you anymore but if you leave your goodreads review as it is you're bound to get nastier responses than mine. :/
Oh sorry, my bad. But my point still stands about you calling a book unacceptable and using a review where things were clearly taken out of context and not encouraging people to make their own opinions on the book. Ok, bye now.
Omg, I love your garden/pond/terrace thing. :O Also, you have the whole house to yourself? Very lucky.
I used to have 4 roommates so I literally feel like I am living in paradise now
I loved this! Would love to see more readathon vlogs from you! :D

Thats a really good idea!
agreed - when i get less than 6 hours of sleep i just feel so gross throughout the day. not worth.
I could stay awake for 24 if for the last week or two if I had consistently slept for ~ 7 - 8 hours each night but that doesnt usually happen so...

Riley looks beautiful in this video
You did so good...😍
Is it just me or does the cover of Undead Girl Gang kind of look like the ending of Degrassi's first theme?
I totally thought the same thing! Lol

I didn’t rate it anything. I never rate books without reading them, as I don’t agree with doing that regardless if you are giving it 1 star or 5.
Oh sorry, my bad. But my point still stands about you calling a book unacceptable and using a review where things were clearly taken out of context and not encouraging people to make their own opinions on the book. Ok, bye now.
