My son just bought that in .308 last week at Walmart. $549 with Vortex scope. If you want to add more to pull length you will need longer screws. It comes with longest spacer and screws already on rifle. They are not long enough to add even the shortest spacer. It has a odd feature to trigger. If trigger is pulled with out depressing accue trigger it will lock trigger. You will need to cycle bolt to correct.
I picked up one chambered in 7mm $ 699 from a place in Texas and mounted it in a Boyds AT 1 Laminate stock with a Meopta 5.5x27x50 mm and it will drive tacks I love it. The bolt does seem to get a better feel over time.
Bought this same rifle in .308 from Walmart three days ago at clearance price of $269. That was a steal, but it came with the Bushnell scope. Still a great deal.
I just picked the 110 APEX HUNTER XP in .223 yesterday but my scope was loose and way off center so mine was def not ready out of the box. Its def a nice rifle though
I got mine from basspro for 450! They wanted 699 for it, but they price matched a store that was selling it for 550, then i had 100 bucks in basspro gift cards. My only gripe about this version is no threaded barrel. The vsx hunter version of this gun is threaded. But BassPro wants 799 for it
Just checking and probably a dumb question as I'm new to rifle cartridges but, can a rifle chambered in 6.5PRC also chamber a 6.5Creedmore? I'm guessing not right?
The 6.5 PRC cartridge is 1.5mm / 0.059" larger in diameter than the Creedmoor and 308 Winchester, requiring a magnum-sized bolt head and a magazine that feeds a 300 WSM-size cartridge.
@@kyleottens2487 6.5 creedmoor tried win, Aquila, Hornaday ammo shoot a 1.5 moa at 50 still working working on the scope it was way off. I want to shoot it one more time to see if I can get better results on the moa...
depends on chambered cartridge and range. This rifle comes in one of thee largest varieties of chamberings: .223 rem, .243 win, .270 win, .300 win mag, .30-06, .308win, 7mm rem mag, 6.5 CM, 6.5 PRC Personally I'm looking at the 6.5 PRC for Elk dropping power and accuracy at 1200m 300, 30-06, 308, 7mm will all do that at 400m to 600m also Clip dropping a moose at 300m with a 6.5 PRC th-cam.com/video/YqDxWFyfaVs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hZNVHmz2X1bh1-os
Careful with the bigger cartridges though, reviews are suggesting the paired mounting rings aren't suited for the higher recoil of the 30-06, 300 and 7mm. 308 and 6.5 PRC is maxing out the Vortex mounts.
I just picked up my Savage 110 Apex Hunter chambered in 300 win mag with scope rail included $519.00 at sportsman's in Bellingham Washington
How do you like it
Vortex scopes are the best bang for your buck. I've got a Savage rifle which is pretty good but it's definitely not as smooth as my Tikka T3X

@wisdomoutdoors Is there any other cartridge that can safely be used in a rifled chambered for 6.5PRC? Or just that one?
Sighted mine in today. Very pleased.
I have this in 30-06 & love it
I gave 607.00 here in Kentucky with the Vortex Diamondback Scope. My trigger was set too light maybe 1.5 pounds it's scary light.
Did you like it???
What does the magazine look like?
Thinking of buying one, how has yours preformed, still like it 10 months later?
Does this rifle have a heavy barrel?
