This is the most beautiful Richard Mille I’ve ever seen
I swear I used to get something like that with a Happy Meal circa 1995.
These are watches that are priced at levels that even rich folks with assets of north of 20 million would never consider for various reasons. These are unicorns- veblen goods- whatever you call something that is priced well north of its engineering or use. Is it art? Is it the flex?
I think I saw one of those on QVC the other day.
Never previously liked RM. I’m warming to them a bit more now with the futuristic vibe. But as I’ll never be able to afford one I don’t have to worry about them potentially depreciating .
The movement is gorgeous. I'd love to see it in a smaller case, however.

It’s trendy among watch snobs on forums to hate on RM, but I’m a fan of anyone willing to make such bold and risky designs. Compared to AP who have coasted of the same octagonal case for decades, at least RM manages to surprise me with every release.

I like it but it is disproportionate: the case is way too big for that little movement, its like they created the case before and then they remembered that they had to put a movement inside 🤦🏻: this makes it seem even more like a toy... There is too much air, void, blank, space inside this watch, it looks off
If it was made smaller it would have looked more refined
It looks like a tiny painting inside a massive wooden frame, behind a bulletproof glass window 😂
The hour and minute hands are in the right size compared to the case but they look like claymores compared to that little movement
I usually hate RM, but I love this watch especially with the egg shell blue accents . If I ever had the money, and I don’t, I’d probably still go greubel but this is closer than most other RMs

there is something very clean and pure about this design. It would look great paired with a matching outfit. Expensive I know but it is a nice watch.
I had a watch like that but all white. I was walking to my car after dinner one evening and a large man with a gun demanded it saying since I was wearing maga hat I didn't deserve it. I truly hope he gets the same joy out of it that I did.

Polarizing but IMO a very cool watch. The choice of many many F1 drivers. Haters can’t afford.
RM sponsors McLaren. The drivers get paid to wear it. Lando Norris got mugged for one of these bad boys. As you said very polarizing- I can see the appeal but it is the ultimate veblen good.
