I'd say that the tree-like graph on the screenshot of the maritime map of Usea is a way to calculate the possible position of the Alicorn. It starts at the home port of the ship, and the map illustrates the ports of the Usean continent, while listing the kind of missions you'd await from a super-submarine (commerce raiding, etc). So, it is possible that this frame is about trying to predict how the Eruseans will use the Alicorn and where it will show up (so that Trigger can yeet it) through the use of AI-created simulations. But the AI ends up with 2405 possible scenarios and Mr North can't rely on the AI anymore. Plus, in the previous trailer, the guy is talking to the AI called Alex to try to form patterns and predictions about Trigger, so it isn't a stretch to imagine they'd try to do the same about the Alicorn.
To bad multiplayer is ass and boring. AC was not meant for the type of vs multiplayer they gave it . It's just boring fly in circles and shoot missiles mindlessly. There is no thinking required. No intense decision making. No skill .no stretegy. No team work. No planning. Just follow people in circles and fire missiles and hope they hit while breaking to dodge incoming missiles. And also hitting an enemy with a missile only to have another player steal your kills. Zzzzzzz. I fucking love Ace Combat but they didn't just drop the ball, they dug a hole and fucking buried it.

And it looks like GREEN means "Base Defense Operation" - so, probably the battle at Artiglio itself is a Base Defense Operation. But from Artiglio it splits into multiple branches, eventually leading to 2405 other sea operations? And all are connected to Artiglio Port. This map is probably just highlighting how important Artiglio is. I could be wrong though, we have to wait and see what it really means.

This is a bit late about the Arsenal bird, but the idea of dropping drones isn't new. Back in 1973, the U.S Air Force considered turning airliners into airborne aircraft carriers. There were once a classified documents detail how a Boeing 747 could be used to launch and recover fighter jets in mid-air.
This looks like it’ll be better then I anticipated, hopefully we get a handful of more jets to play with too. I’d really love for there to be more, the ones we got in the DLCs are cool but not anything we really haven’t seen besides the UAVs. They pretty much function like any other jet in the game just a bit faster and what have you.

This game is so great because many of us wanted to be pilots but never made it because of poor eyesight, heart problems, poor grades, unwillingness to join the military etc. I personally don't want to surrender my freedom in exchange for the chance to pilot an eagle for few years. You can't fly jets to 30 years in the air force. If you could, every 30 years the whole crop of pilots would retire and it would cripple the air force's fighting power. Instead they keep sending older pilots to a desk and bringing in young ones. The correct balance is 50% veterans and 50% new recruits. Thus at no time will the air force experience a mass retirement of pilots a year before a war. Instead the air force experiences a balanced, staggered retirement rate. These people study everything, they know things. Emphasis on Electronic Warfare and a hunt for a rogue doomsday submarine? I'm getting Arma 3: Contact & The Hunt for Red October vibes (kind of a weird combo I guess). I have a hunch those 2 Su-47's may be rogue Osean defectors & supporting the Alicorn. Them and that Rafale M squadron might be the aces you have to fight in the missions.
It's... odd seeing Osea using Su-47s maybe they are a special tactical squadron of some sort that is working for Osea, on Ace Combat history, the Su-47 has being normaly used by Belka and Yuktobania, and other countries where Belka has ties or something in common, plus... that skin reminds me to certain Belkan squadron that we fought on the Round Table. And the neutron bombs are not something used on Ace Combat X?
The ESM thing is reminding me of AC6, which is also reminding me of how most missions worked there. Where you could choose different operations in each mission. Wonder if they would add that in the DLCs

@@Malick-ix9io A lot of planes that people want to see in the game were not confirmed but people are still making recommendations so that we at least get some of the ones that we want to see in the game. More of the older fighters like the F-100, 101, 102, 105, and 106 have a lot of support from the community. With some more of these lower tier fighters it might make the multiplayer funner and less boring below the 2000 cost limit.

A neutron bomb? It sounds disturbing. It's good that EA-18G. We are waiting for confirmation of the presence of F-15SE, Su-27, FB-22, F-16F and F-35A/B. I can already see two disappointments. 1. In one of the photos you can see Rafale M taking off from the ship, but since "Alicorn" is from Yuktobania (Russia), there should be MiG-29K fighters that, in theory, are better suited. 2. Instead of Su-47 in new colors there should be something new like invisible Rafale C, F-16 Block 70/72, F-15SE, Tornado, F-35A and even F-22B. And why LRSSG mainly uses F-15C, since they were created for fighter missions and not for multi-tasking.

So "Alicorn" instead of Rafale M would have been equipped with MiG-29K or F-35C fighters and even F-35B fighters. Su-33 falls because it is too big and would not fit.

About the ECM screenshot, I don't think that's what it actually is. He's at 90% damage in that screenshot, I think it's part of the effect of getting grazed by the AoE of that green bubble.
Also, the one that you thought was a map of the ports, the top right graph is a simulation of various events happening, and the chains of those various events are future possibilities based on the parent nodes. Note the colors of the nodes match the legend. Basically, the AI sees 2000 some odd possible outcomes from (presumedly) the attack to try and take the Alicorn. Don't forget, these are not just screenshots for the first dlc mission.

In DLC I'd love to see an FOV slider first off, and I really want more real planes, I dont like using the fake stuff. I'd love to see a Draken, or an F-5. And I'd also love to see some more varied missions and locales. Using things like the A-10 are nearly pointless because EVERY mission has you needing to deal with drones or aircraft... Remember in Zero how you could choose between different objective sets for some missions? or in 6 they put multiple operations within the one battlespace? I'd love to see more stuff like that instead of just fake planes, lasers and skins. The only dlc I picked up was the F-4, I haven't had even a slight interest in any of the others. COOP would be pretty great too.

I have a hunch those 2 Su-47's may be rogue Osean defectors & supporting the Alicorn. Them and that Rafale M squadron might be the aces you have to fight in the missions.

It's... odd seeing Osea using Su-47s maybe they are a special tactical squadron of some sort that is working for Osea, on Ace Combat history, the Su-47 has being normaly used by Belka and Yuktobania, and other countries where Belka has ties or something in common, plus... that skin reminds me to certain Belkan squadron that we fought on the Round Table.
And the neutron bombs are not something used on Ace Combat X?

The ESM thing is reminding me of AC6, which is also reminding me of how most missions worked there. Where you could choose different operations in each mission. Wonder if they would add that in the DLCs

5) @10:25 My impression is that if they fail to attack and/or sink the Alicorn here, there's a possible 2,405 locations it could end up surfacing at (to strike or be vulnerable, hard to say).

Can you see if Kono will give us the F-15 se silent eagle stealth version? I think that it would be cool in the game along with the CFA-44.
I doubt that F-15SE was confirmed, there are too many versions of the F-15 now. But CFA-44 would be a chance.

A lot of planes that people want to see in the game were not confirmed but people are still making recommendations so that we at least get some of the ones that we want to see in the game. More of the older fighters like the F-100, 101, 102, 105, and 106 have a lot of support from the community. With some more of these lower tier fighters it might make the multiplayer funner and less boring below the 2000 cost limit.

i've got an idea. maybe those planes could be in an optional tech tree as to not f*** up the already existing tree. but, yes. I would love to see the "century series" fighters!

Just because you add new planes to the tree does not mean that it will mess up the already existing tree. They will just do what they did with the falken, morgan, and raven and put them in the areas that match. So its nothing to get to get bent out of shape about.

A neutron bomb? It sounds disturbing. It's good that EA-18G. We are waiting for confirmation of the presence of F-15SE, Su-27, FB-22, F-16F and F-35A/B.
I can already see two disappointments.
1. In one of the photos you can see Rafale M taking off from the ship, but since "Alicorn" is from Yuktobania (Russia), there should be MiG-29K fighters that, in theory, are better suited.
2. Instead of Su-47 in new colors there should be something new like invisible Rafale C, F-16 Block 70/72, F-15SE, Tornado, F-35A and even F-22B.
And why LRSSG mainly uses F-15C, since they were created for fighter missions and not for multi-tasking.

So "Alicorn" instead of Rafale M would have been equipped with MiG-29K or F-35C fighters and even F-35B fighters. Su-33 falls because it is too big and would not fit.

About the ECM screenshot, I don't think that's what it actually is. He's at 90% damage in that screenshot, I think it's part of the effect of getting grazed by the AoE of that green bubble.
Also, the one that you thought was a map of the ports, the top right graph is a simulation of various events happening, and the chains of those various events are future possibilities based on the parent nodes. Note the colors of the nodes match the legend. Basically, the AI sees 2000 some odd possible outcomes from (presumedly) the attack to try and take the Alicorn. Don't forget, these are not just screenshots for the first dlc mission.

90% of all the flying behemoths of Ace Combat should not fly. Only Arsenal birbs look like they have some lift on their wings. Possibility is there.

Seeing all these DLC missions now kind of makes it feel weird that none of it is ever mentioned during the actual campaign
Here's a theory, whats if its all a simulation like ace combat 3? Would explain all the calculating and number crunching stuff from the previous trailer.
In DLC I'd love to see an FOV slider first off, and I really want more real planes, I dont like using the fake stuff. I'd love to see a Draken, or an F-5. And I'd also love to see some more varied missions and locales. Using things like the A-10 are nearly pointless because EVERY mission has you needing to deal with drones or aircraft... Remember in Zero how you could choose between different objective sets for some missions? or in 6 they put multiple operations within the one battlespace? I'd love to see more stuff like that instead of just fake planes, lasers and skins. The only dlc I picked up was the F-4, I haven't had even a slight interest in any of the others. COOP would be pretty great too.

Hey ACF, can you tweet Project ACES/Kazutoki Kono to update AC5 PS4 version to add ADLER after releasing all AC7's DLCs if it's possible? (ADLER was supposed to be in AC5 but scrapped due to time constrains, also, AC5 PS4 version is update-able, just go to AC5 in PS4's menu, and press Dualshock 4's option button, and you'll see there's "Update to latest version" button in the display) Because it was supposed to be in AC5, i think adding ADLER would be worth it. Also, can you do an AC AHL walkthrough if you can, please? There are currently no "no commentary full playtrhough" (actually, there's an AC AHL full playtrhough, but with commentary, the youtuber who did it is NineGearCrow). I already asked Tugaavenger and Zaptroxix. Tuga says he can't, his PC can't run Citra emulator, Zap says the game is not running well in the emulator, but if the game's running is getting well in the emulator, Zap will do it. So don't do the playtrhough now, i'll wait for Zap's answer.
