I’m totally surprised that their shoe store is still in business the way they both offend their customers so much, with Al constantly making fun of fat women and Griff hitting on the customers the way he just did 😂
@@Anthyrion oh without a doubt Jefferson made a great character for the show as well. Al needed a neighbor who understood him. Steve was great too because he often provided the straight man role in the comedy
That can happen if it was sponsored/donated, but yes, it did seem rather rehearsed like it happens every time. It will be cold and soggy...hopefully not shriveled up.
It's not made up, it was indeed Zbigniew Pietrzykowski. But then if you think about it, you can't really make up such a name anyway unless you have native Polish speakers on the writing staff.
The best part of this is later on when Griff gets the prize, Al is pretending to be "Alfredo Alfonso", a mute, and Bud comes in, starts saying "you're not the Al Bun...." and Al jumps up screaming gibberish and throws Bud into the stock room, lol.
You know they actually had the games in Atlanta the year this ep aired (1996). One of my favorite ep too & it shows why Griff was such an important character in MWC's later seasons This ep also predicted the fate of Bruce Jenner!
Al and Griff worked so well together. Griff trying to get some action instead it was three slaps. She was pretty in this episode. Kinda surprised that Al didn't hit on her. The radio host is super suspicious of Al.
Married with Children did something very few tv shows could pull off; it gave us the best of the show towards the end of the series. Giving Al more friends like Grif became a great addition.
Dexter was a sub for Aaron in the 8th season. Maybe if the actor who played Dexter had agreed to come back, he'd have been there, but I think he didn't want to, so they created the Griff character.
There were actually two boxers with the same name. The one who you are refering to was Tadeusz who was a prison of several German concentration camps between 1940-1945 and he fought there with prisoners and camp personel. And yup he was somebody. Zbigniew Pietrzykowski who lost in 1960 to Cassius started boxing after the war. Just making it clear :) Nice to see this reference in the MWC though... also nice that you know the other boxer story
Al and griff are always funny together
But too late
I’m totally surprised that their shoe store is still in business the way they both offend their customers so much, with Al constantly making fun of fat women and Griff hitting on the customers the way he just did 😂
Griff is the best. He always cracked me up when he broke the 4th wall.
He was my favorite aside of al
griff ,jefferson ,steve ,they are all good playing their character
👍👍👍
Love the bromance between Al and Griff 😎
"Do side dishes come with that chicken?" Haha!
No man! My side already ate.
I love Griff’s reaction at 3:34 tempted to give up for the chicken dinner lol.
Al probably would've done the same thing.
@@sha11235Yes, that's why we have friends, so they can do the other part/coach/spot us.
Love this show. In today’s time it would be cancelled but look at how Al and Griff get along without mentioning race concerns. Great show.
Why ?
@@lexkanyima2195 These idiots that keep reflexively saying that seem to not know the actual history behind the show.
@@twonumber22 but it is cliche
Why canceled ? Family guy is just as bad or worst

Animated shows get away with a lot more than live action shows.
I love how suspicious he is of Al being there. You can never be too careful!
"No, I'm divorced as in screwed over by the ex."
"She got the house, the car, the money. I got a right to remain silent."
Well keep your problems to yourself this isn't Fraiser
Just couldn't get better than MWC. From absolutely great scripts to cast members.
Griff: "Let's see.... It's on the tip of her tongue.... I MEAN MY TONGUE!
I never knew you were such a big fan of the Olympics AL. I'm not but I'm a huge fan of leaving home!!😂😂😂
Griff really revived Married of Children. I wish he was in more episodes!
I agree. Griff was hilarious.
Griff was good, but i think the relationship between Al and Jefferson was the thing, the show needed.
@@Anthyrion oh without a doubt Jefferson made a great character for the show as well. Al needed a neighbor who understood him. Steve was great too because he often provided the straight man role in the comedy
Or more seasons, he came very late
@@Anthyrion Jefferson did add quite a bit. Steve was a bit stiff. Griff though was awesome. He was a good addition to Al's little crew.
I love that he actually has the dinner with him. such a bizzare thing to happen.
That can happen if it was sponsored/donated, but yes, it did seem rather rehearsed like it happens every time. It will be cold and soggy...hopefully not shriveled up.
The funniest thing from this episode is when the guy points at Marcy and asks 'Aren't you Bruce Jenner'.
You mean Boxing Legend Roy Jones Jr?
Al: "Who holds the world record for the long-standing broad jump?"
Griff: "Me, if she doesn't move."
😹😸😺👍
😂😂😂
"keep ur problems to urself, this aint Fraiser"🤣
Just hilarious. Griff was yet another great addition to the show!
Amen, Griff was awesome. I lament it took so long before he was added.
@@syntaxusdogmata3333 but it is too late to add him
Despite Al's ban
Married with children/Seinfeld R the best shows ever!
The fact that this show can't be remastered into HD is a crime against humanity.
🤔
Zbigniew Pietrzykowski 🤣
Even harder to pronounce than the name of that interdimensional dwarf that sometimes messes with Superman.
It's not made up, it was indeed Zbigniew Pietrzykowski.
But then if you think about it, you can't really make up such a name anyway unless you have native Polish speakers on the writing staff.
I was really rooting for them. I'm happy they won. 😀
Not really. Watch the whole episode to see the downfall.
2:00 Bo Jackson was great here
I thought that was Bo. Always loved the guy.
Ahh the good old days when a sexist compliment was responded with a slap, slap accepted, and that was all, no ones' lives were ruined.
One of the best duo in comedy.
The best part of this is later on when Griff gets the prize, Al is pretending to be "Alfredo Alfonso", a mute, and Bud comes in, starts saying "you're not the Al Bun...." and Al jumps up screaming gibberish and throws Bud into the stock room, lol.
Yeah, that was to protect himself so they wouldn't lose the prize.
Alfredo Alberto.
But yours is a good version too.
I miss Griff, man was awesome. Love this show. Got the man, bo! My man
The Bruce Jenner jokes later in the episode are gold
"Are we at the airport, or is that my heart taking off??"
You know they actually had the games in Atlanta the year this ep aired (1996). One of my favorite ep too & it shows why Griff was such an important character in MWC's later seasons
This ep also predicted the fate of Bruce Jenner!
The greatest female swimmer of all time! 😁
Well, yeah, they did this episode due to the Olympics that were coming up. They still happened despite what happens in the episode.
Gots to love the Alster and the Griffer :)
'Al Bundy's not there is he' they hate Al so much .
This contest is open to everyone except radio station employees, and Al bundy..
Griff was a great chracter , Gotta wonder what he's doing now days
Al and Griff worked so well together. Griff trying to get some action instead it was three slaps. She was pretty in this episode. Kinda surprised that Al didn't hit on her. The radio host is super suspicious of Al.
Al wouldn't hit on a black woman.
Married with Children did something very few tv shows could pull off; it gave us the best of the show towards the end of the series. Giving Al more friends like Grif became a great addition.
When Griff and Al are together it’s really Ron Leavitt and Micheal G. Moye acting out through them. Those are the two creators of this show.
Only Leavitt already left by the time the 10th season began.
@@Angyali Leavitt had been long gone before Griff came into the show.
Bo Jackson was great in this episode. "Keep your problems to yourself, this isn't Frasier."
His best line! Such a clever joke
@@Angyali Frasier was very big at the time and now it is back.
Al knows everything in sports!!!🏆🪙💪🏻✡🕎🇮🇱

The casting crew hit a home run with Griff. Anyone who doesn't like Griff has a big time problem imo.

He throws him in the back room. It's on here.

3 times Olympic medalist -- one silver, (1960) two bronze medals (1956, 1964)

Griff inspired Cleveland.
