Shang has excellent, excellent groundstrokes. So fluid and pure. Doesn't look like he's hitting the ball all that hard but it just flies through the court.

"Tiafoe headlines" means he is going to lose. There are a couple of these words which are used in the title which makes it obvious that the higher seed, or the most exciting player, is going to lose. If you want to get a pattern, check the titles when Fonseca is going to lose, during the golden swing.

@@William666UK Yeah that's true, but the most improved ones are those who won more than they did in the past. Berettini raised his form slowly back to top but he's already been top10 and GS finalist. Winning two 250s is not improvement to his achievement. Should name him as the best comeback.
He was rough at Wimbledon, I was court side when he played a woeful match against Brandon Nakamashima, but to be fair that was grass, not his best surface.

If Shang can start to be more forward-minded in his playstyle he's going to be a force.
Also, FWIW Shang is the next very big deal. Players know. He's like a Top 8 player as long as he continues to play freely and doesn't get inside his own head. He has every shot with power.

Rinderkneck iced Bellucci for a solid 15mins after the second set, went to the locker room, and when he came back he took forever to get ready, slowly putting on his wrist bands. Not the first time he played mind games with his opponent and displayed poor sportsmanship.

Alcaraz was having an off day, but he is a champion and knows how to get the win.

He seems to have lost motivation.
What does Tiafoe do well besides serve? Nothing. He is a subpar returner. His forehand is loopy and doesn't pierce through the court quickly enough. Backhand not much of a weapon either just shot he massages back into play. Then he'll make random errors in untimely spots. He is what he is. Wildly overrated. He can hit a decent drop shot I'll give him that - but he just gets pushed around from the back of the court a lot. He doesn't hit through opponents. The guy to look out for is Shang. Tremendous from the baseline. Great speed. Utilizes a slice well. HIs forehand he can use as a strong defensive shot to place in corners to neutralize points or flatten out to be more aggressive and hit winners. Backhand is solid. Is able to hit the touch shots well. Way higher ceiling than Tiafoe who does decent at the US Open, but then struggles in almost every event outside that
