    Are you all talking Total timing? Your making power at 22 degrees total or advance?

  • @jedpratte

    Have been using ethenol based fuels for a long time now. All we use is e85 at least 85%. This is on little 122CI 4cyls 10:1 comp with large turbos at 40s for boost. Amazing stuff.

      Just takes a lot of fuel delivery. This is with 2150cc injectors. Large external pumps like magnafuel 750 ect

    22 degrees of timing? Why do low? I'm running 30 degrees on 10 psi!

    What was the respective horsepower for the C6 at 5000 rpm where the Challenger's injectors were maxed?

    So why didn't you cut the ethanol fuels with 93 to get it to E50 and get more out your fuel system on the Dodge?

      x98 you can use with on normal injectors. C85 you can't, both make the same power from what it looks like. C85 probably last a bit longer since it's not pure ethanol.

      @@Jamxknife thanks for your reply I did not know that. Someone makes a device that “tests” the fuel and adjusts the computer as needed, do you know anything about that?

    • @Jamxknife
      @Jamxknife 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dave5833 GM makes an oem flex fuel sensor. If you have an ecu that can take a 5v input you can tune your car off the difference in ethanol %. I use haltech

    What percent of additional fuel is needed for the X98 VS C85?

    • @matt7sixty
      @matt7sixty หลายเดือนก่อน

      Minimal really. C85 is 9.20 stoichiometric ratio, X98 is 8.98 mathematically it’s 2.5% more

    Cool test. If I can make a suggestion, I think Bob needs to stop saying ‘yep’ and ‘right’ in the middle and after the other guys sentences. Just nod. Makes it hard to follow the info, at least for me.

    Reminds me of the fuel shoot out y'all did 5 years ago. Alcohol based fuels did much better than the gasoline based fuels. Even meth injection with 50/50 meth and water did better than c16 and ms109.

    Little less talking BS and more talking about the facts about the fuels.
