The regera is the actual best racing and its not just my opinion a regera with the best chidori card combo leaves any car behind the problem and the reason that it gets so much hate is that kids are expecting they will automatically win if they have it, driving a max regera itself is a challenge and if not used correctly you will most likeley simply smash into a wall ,so in the end the ragara is the actual best racing car...if you can control it...
Honestly overall the Porsche 911 gtr just an amazing car all round and that's not just in pay back but I've experienced this in practically every other racing game I've played.👏👏
My "best" car (not top speed) is the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport as race config. It got 1.117PS and top speed on 369. 0-100 in 1,93 seconds. It's tuned to 399. Btw. Nice Video
My favorite "lower tier" sleeper is the Golf GTI. If its a twisty race, you will win. You can start the game with it so a lot of people haven't gotten back to it after upgrading... Ive beat 399 with a 274... The other best offroad sleeper is Civic TypeR -- BRUTAL SLEEPER!
I use the Pagani it is really expensive but if you upgrade it to max and put acceleration and speed cards the handling speed acceleration it does really well in everything
One of my favorites that I won the Outlaws Rush with is the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and I didn't even have it maxed out to 399 mine was only at 387 I know that is not very far off and mine was 6x outlaw parts bonus but I stand behind it 100% as one of my favorite Race spec cars

DD dorsett well in the mountain run done by I suck at driving aka MSWGR RSR prevailed over the regera. All that the regera has is it’s nitrous power, top speed, and acceleration.
Anim3 4 Life The Fairlady Z is a decent car, but it's easily out beat when it comes to handling. It does great on sprints with long road because of its acceleration, but a regera is the clear winner in any long sprint. With the cars I listed such as the RSR, it has good acceleration, great speed, great handeling, and it's nitro is pretty strong. The fair lady makes it very difficult to keep high speeds in tight turns
I used a derelict mustang, gtr r35, jaguar f type, 911 gt3rs etc... out of these cars i think the Ftype is the best i have rarely seen anyone use that. It performs really well, its basically one of the sleeper cars in the game😅
The RX7 is the most amazing car I've driven so far. It's just fun. It drifts really well, it accelerates from 0-100 kph in less than 2 seconds I think. The only thing "bad" about that car is the Max speed, but it is like 340 kph, so it's really decent
I used the Evolution IX for Hard mode and it did pretty well, you only have to know how to push it to the limits. Not saying is the top car but it can be competitive
BMW M3 E30 evo II :)....its handling is very nice...a race car that is really good at drifting as well...keeps its high speed while going through corners
With the Regera, as long as you have the brake response at the max as you can get, it's handling is really decent. Do not use the hand brake for it though unless you are turning around a tight corner at the last minute to save yourself. Just use the regular brake and let the car turn for you. By the way, because of that crispy intro, you earned yourself a subscriber.
That's what I was thinking as long as your brakes and handling response especially the way you play that car kills any game I got my regera to 275pmh on a good stretch 😅
The aston martin vulcan is probably the Best race car ive driven in in this game so far, because of the acceleration an lightweight which makes it really conttollable
i used the nissan fairlady thoughout the entire game and its amazing the handling is perfect the speed and acceleration are fast as hell and it looks sick
idk my reggara feels nice to turn with and super smooth on the slides when i first used it i was just dissapointed but getting the right perks made it a beast

Best review I found so far. Everyone else just say "love this. hate that. Hate this"... But WHY!?!?!?!? Kahm got it close to a good review. But I was expecting something a bit more objetive. For instance, I felt that indicators such as horsepower, N20 Power and so on, got left out... I got to say that Acura NSX is the best one I found so far (I'm at the middle of chapter 5). I compared it to the Lamborghini and it feels like it's got A LOT more grip. It's a lot more responsive than the Lambo, that feels heavy... The Goliath yes I play the game, have 192 hours on it and 87 cars. I did the glitch the duplicate the speed cards and tested a ton of cars. Your claim is false, I’m not saying the beetle is bad just doesn’t stomp on every car on this list.
Pagani Huayra performs excellent, at least when I drive it has good handling and a decent top speed and good acceleration, I just learned that I can improve it even more, it's just Such a good car definitely worth a try if you can build it right. 👌🏼👌🏼
911 RSR is the jam...... once i got it to about 300 it really came to life. Now i am a few points below 399 and its flat out awesome. In my opinion it’s the best car in the game. Its a pig at time of purchase !!!!!
The Porsche 911 RSR may be the best car in the game, in terms of acceleration, speed, handling, etc. The only real problem I have with it is that it's so damn ugly to look at.
I also Love it, Great handling and even greater accaleration! Mine goes from 0-100 km/h in 1.53 secs and is nearly 0.1 seconds accalerating faster than any of my other cars!
My go to cars are the Porsche Cayman and the Nissan GT-R premium. I like them because they may not be the fastest cars in the game, but their handling is pretty damn good, steering and drifting with them is nice, I almost never lose control wit them
my opinion but I love the dodge charger for race maxed out I'm such a sucker for muscle I love muscle cars so much and with chidori and nextech bonus it's really fast, also the regera with chidori and outlaw bonuses.

I liked using the Porsche Cayman GT4 in the story. It was very fast, accelerated quick, and handled good. And I completely agree with the choice of putting the Audi R8 in No.2 spot!
The GTR is heavier than most of the other 399 level cars so the breaking can seem heavier but when you learn how to play with that car it's a beast ! I smoke many players with my GTR on online
Its weak anyway, im not talking about skills, GT-R is weak car in Payback, I mean all aspects of it: handlling, acceleration, nos acceleration (every single car in Payback has different nitrous power even if you have it maxed out). Beating others on online is easy, cuz mostly people use Regera and they get crashed with it.
Daniel Marcinkowski sorry but you're wrong, the only "weak" aspect of the GTR is the heavy handling but NOS and max speed have nothing wrong and the acceleration is just freakin' powerful ... and there are not as many regera players as before so most players I beat play with RSR, 918 Spyder, M4 GTS etc ...

NOS is weak, acceleration is decent and its bad in brake to drift, of course if you compare it to other 399 cars, but overall it can be quite nice. By that all i only mean that it doesnt have anything to be in the top 5, in top 10 maybe, but at the end of it.
BRoCLaW Yes. Unfortunately when you use a runner car instead a racer car, it's better to drive the racer car. BECAUSE, runner cars are more robust.... but they are waay slower than the racer cars.

GTR is staight up hot garbage, R8 is pretty bad too. 918 is right below the uber cars, (Regara, 911 RSR, Beetle, M3 EVO) the tier below the ubers are: Huayra BC, 918 Spyder, and 570S
Not sure if you're talking about single player or online but I used the Evo for offroad races and it wasn't doing it for me (check my first couple of episodes i've done of me doing online speedlists). It just couldn't compete with the likes of the Ford Mustang or the Bel Air. I do love the car myself so I can see why you enjoy using it
Been a few years but try the Ford GT. It may not be the best but like your R8 and I do agree it is a really good car. But, look into the story of this Ford GT and try it out.

I sold the first car they give you for the Nissan skyline. I got both of them and maxed them out to to 399 and I’m having so much fun finishing the campaign and online. So far no one not even a McLaren can touch me.

I think any car is capable of winning single player races as long as it can lvl to 399. On my top 5 drift cars video a lot of people are saying the RX-7 is a monster drift car and I agree with them, it is great at drifting.

The Rsr was the best car in need for speed 2015. seems like it lives up to its name.
I use the Aston Martin Vulcan, absolute beast. But stability control in it and it can take corners with ease.
What I've noticed about the 918 is the top speed cuts out and you start losing speed other than that the acceleration and handling is adequate

How about top 5 Bate crate cars, top 5 cars for roaming racers or the side challenges? Would be interesting since you can use any class for these.

My go to cars are the Porsche Cayman and the Nissan GT-R premium. I like them because they may not be the fastest cars in the game, but their handling is pretty damn good, steering and drifting with them is nice, I almost never lose control wit them

my opinion but I love the dodge charger for race maxed out I'm such a sucker for muscle I love muscle cars so much and with chidori and nextech bonus it's really fast, also the regera with chidori and outlaw bonuses.

Awesome video man you just got another subscriber there pal, and you really need to give the mustang derilict a go that thing is a beast, and after watching this video i am definitely convinced its the fastest accelerating car in the game it gets to 200 mph with ease i hardy even use the nos on the thing to be honest and i am getting 230+ out of my build

I liked using the Porsche Cayman GT4 in the story. It was very fast, accelerated quick, and handled good. And I completely agree with the choice of putting the Audi R8 in No.2 spot!

Z M I would probably go for the Audi. Its all wheel drive, so better cornering and faster acceleration. That’s probably your best bet

I beat last race league with it, planing to take it to the outlawsrush since mine is already 375. Top speed isn’t ideal, though
Honda s2000 also pretty good i used the car through the whole game as my race car and never really lost
GT-R is actually one of the worst 399 level cars, or even the worst.
The GTR is heavier than most of the other 399 level cars so the breaking can seem heavier but when you learn how to play with that car it's a beast ! I smoke many players with my GTR on online
Its weak anyway, im not talking about skills, GT-R is weak car in Payback, I mean all aspects of it: handlling, acceleration, nos acceleration (every single car in Payback has different nitrous power even if you have it maxed out). Beating others on online is easy, cuz mostly people use Regera and they get crashed with it.
Daniel Marcinkowski sorry but you're wrong, the only "weak" aspect of the GTR is the heavy handling but NOS and max speed have nothing wrong and the acceleration is just freakin' powerful ... and there are not as many regera players as before so most players I beat play with RSR, 918 Spyder, M4 GTS etc ...
Charles-Henry Bernard you beat them cuz you were better player. NOS is weak, acceleration is decent and its bad in brake to drift, of course if you compare it to other 399 cars, but overall it can be quite nice. By that all i only mean that it doesnt have anything to be in the top 5, in top 10 maybe, but at the end of it.

BRoCLaW Yes. Unfortunately when you use a runner car instead a racer car, it's better to drive the racer car. BECAUSE, runner cars are more robust.... but they are waay slower than the racer cars.

The mitsubishi evo at 399 is an absolute beast. Still carries over some of it's offroad abilities even if it's race class.
Not sure if you're talking about single player or online but I used the Evo for offroad races and it wasn't doing it for me (check my first couple of episodes i've done of me doing online speedlists). It just couldn't compete with the likes of the Ford Mustang or the Bel Air. I do love the car myself so I can see why you enjoy using it

I sold the first car they give you for the Nissan skyline. I got both of them and maxed them out to to 399 and I’m having so much fun finishing the campaign and online. So far no one not even a McLaren can touch me.
Wow am I the only one that likes the RX-7 as my race car it is a beast and can beat any race with ease but if you are going for time records you might want a different car
I think any car is capable of winning single player races as long as it can lvl to 399. On my top 5 drift cars video a lot of people are saying the RX-7 is a monster drift car and I agree with them, it is great at drifting.
