Thank you for your comment, Mariam. 🙏🏼😊 I hope you're able to get your Calla Lilies to survive. If not, definitely buy some more and keep those ones going. It's so worth it. I feel like plants that form bulbs, tubers, and corms (like calla and canna lilies, dahlias, elephant ears, etc.) are worth the initial investment as you can easily multiply your stock in those plants. Don't give up, friend! Happy gardening. 💞🌸

Thank you for sharing. Do you have a similar video posted for the cana lilly. Or is it pretty much the same?

You're very welcome. Unfortunately I do not have a similar video posted, but yes, the process would be the same. 😊🌺

Just wondering when is the best time to break the rhizomes apart in the spring before planting or the fall before storing for the winter?

Hi there! You can divide your calla lily rhizomes in either the late winter / early spring (after the danger of frost has passed) or late summer / early fall.
Most growers prefer to divide calla lilies in spring, especially in warm climates where you can leave the rhizome in the ground year round. In cooler areas, you might prefer to divide the rhizomes in late summer or fall when you dig them up for winter storage. 😊🌸

So they're overwintered in the same way as ranunculus corms? They're beautiful, and now that I know I can save them year to year, I'll be on the lookout for them. Thanks, Vita!

Hi Mary! Yep. Ranunculus corms and Calla Lily rhizomes are overwintered the same way, which is super nice! 😊🌺
